So are we to keep poking fun at the situation bc we all could use a good laugh right now, or just let it go because Will Smith is sad? Also what does “ad infinitum” and “whipty doodle doo” mean? The Latin phrase is to talk about over and over again. Whipty doodle doo is a quote from a rooster who doesn't like to say the word c.ock. 1 Quote

I have no problem boycotting all awards shows... oh wait, I already don't watch. 1 Quote

Bookie Man Posted April 8, 2022 Posted April 8, 2022 Everything about it seems fake to me. From the reactions to the joke, reactions to the slap and even the way Chris Rock stood there like he was expecting Will to slap him. He leaned forward and kind of like offered his face. Plus it's Hollywood. Not buying it. 2 1 Quote
Rico Posted April 8, 2022 Posted April 8, 2022 https://people.com/movies/will-smith-banned-from-oscars-ceremony-for-10-years/?amp=true I enjoy a good conspiracy theory every now and then, but I doubt this is fake. Quote

I could see him not coming for the next year or two, and then they change their mind and all is forgiven or something like that. Quote

But why Smith would agree to participate in it and kill his career destroys that theory in my mind. Quote
