Contract, on its face, is big $$$

Really good player.  Never plays a full season.

Risky signing, but it makes a ton of sense for the Dolphins.

At least he got paid, wins will be slim in Miami.

I really don't understand top talent that signs with teams just because the monetary value of the contract is 5-10% more. No state taxes help of course, but still.

I disagree, I think Miami while not great will most likely be 2nd in the East. Neither Pats or Jets are doing ***** this season or beyond. Bill can’t draft and no FA wanted anything to with the Jets.

Shouldn't they get a qb worth protecting first?

He's not a bad QB, I hope the Bills don't look past the dolphins like so many fans do. They have a solid roster.

But is 2nd in the east that great? Where does that put them in the conference in your opinion? Maybe 9th? Broncos, Chargers, Browns, Bengals, Bills, Raiders, Chiefs, Titans..all better than Miami.

2nd in the east sounds great until you look at the conference, and I probably forgot some teams.

They are decent, and at this point I would put them above the Pats.

But the Dolphins have a first time head coach with new schemes and still plenty of weak spots. It's hard to see Miami putting it all together immediately under McDaniel, especially with the limitations at qb.

We will see.  The defense which was built in the NE style for Flores most likely takes a couple of steps back with scheme change.

They still have the same QB - so maybe 3rd or 4th best in AFC east.

The Jets have gotten better and NE started better than them.

I think all 3 are in a dog fight for finishing 9-8 to 6-11 and missing the playoffs.

I am not sure this moves the needle much for me with the injury history and the QB style.

They signed Connor Williams too.

LT-Armstead

LG-Williams

C-Deiter

RG- Hunt

RT- Probably Eichenberg

Way better than it was. Tua still sucks.

Tua's also a lefty, odd they signed to fix left side.

If he can't produce behind that line, they'll be in the QB market next year. Plus they upgraded the RB.
