qwksilver Posted March 23, 2022 Posted March 23, 2022 Sure hope he manages to miss a bunch of games during his fish time. Quote
GETTOTHE50 Posted March 23, 2022 Posted March 23, 2022 they needed to sign someone after this disastrous offseason of theirs Quote
SCBills Posted March 23, 2022 Posted March 23, 2022 Contract, on its face, is big $$$ Really good player. Never plays a full season. Risky signing, but it makes a ton of sense for the Dolphins. Quote
Southern_Bills Posted March 23, 2022 Posted March 23, 2022 At least he got paid, wins will be slim in Miami. I really don't understand top talent that signs with teams just because the monetary value of the contract is 5-10% more. No state taxes help of course, but still. Quote

I disagree, I think Miami while not great will most likely be 2nd in the East. Neither Pats or Jets are doing ***** this season or beyond. Bill can’t draft and no FA wanted anything to with the Jets. 1 Quote

Where does that put them in the conference in your opinion? Maybe 9th? Broncos, Chargers, Browns, Bengals, Bills, Raiders, Chiefs, Titans..all better than Miami. 2nd in the east sounds great until you look at the conference, and I probably forgot some teams. 1 Quote

They have a solid roster. They are decent, and at this point I would put them above the Pats. But the Dolphins have a first time head coach with new schemes and still plenty of weak spots. It's hard to see Miami putting it all together immediately under McDaniel, especially with the limitations at qb. Edited March 23, 2022 by buffblue 1 Quote
BruceVilanch Posted March 23, 2022 Posted March 23, 2022 Tua gets an extra .5 seconds to throw it 5 yards. Not worried. 1 3 2 Quote

The defense which was built in the NE style for Flores most likely takes a couple of steps back with scheme change. They still have the same QB - so maybe 3rd or 4th best in AFC east. The Jets have gotten better and NE started better than them. I think all 3 are in a dog fight for finishing 9-8 to 6-11 and missing the playoffs. I am not sure this moves the needle much for me with the injury history and the QB style. Quote

MrEpsYtown Posted March 23, 2022 Posted March 23, 2022 They signed Connor Williams too. LT-Armstead LG-Williams C-Deiter RG- Hunt RT- Probably Eichenberg Way better than it was. Tua still sucks. 1 Quote

Plus they upgraded the RB. Quote

Mikie's Bills Posted March 23, 2022 Posted March 23, 2022 Heading into the draft I would put them a smidge above NE for 2nd in the division. We'll see if Tua can stay healthy Quote
