First Round Bust Posted March 21, 2022 Posted March 21, 2022 luv Al, always have and always will, but I prefer Herb Kirkstreit to the other guy 1 Quote
Greg S Posted March 21, 2022 Posted March 21, 2022 So Kirkstreit is going to do both the NFL and CFB on Saturday? Quote

H2o Posted March 21, 2022 Posted March 21, 2022 I hope Herbstreit remains with the College Gameday crew, as well as calling college games with Fowler. That Game Day crew is my favorite, I even have watched them during the draft the last couple of years. I also like KH calling the National game of the week Saturday nights. Quote
msw2112 Posted March 21, 2022 Posted March 21, 2022 I'm not an Ohio State fan, so it takes a lot for me to say this, but I like Herbstreit on the ESPN college football broadcasts. I hope that this new assignment does not take him out of that role. I'm a big Michaels fan too. 1 Quote

Mr. WEO Posted March 21, 2022 Posted March 21, 2022 The Herbstreit to TNF came out 2 weeks ago with the rumored pairing with Buck or Al. After Buck and Aikman went to ESPN last week, it was assumed Al would join Herb. Quote
blacklabel Posted March 21, 2022 Posted March 21, 2022 I thought Al was retiring? Of all the broadcaster shuffling this year, it’s upsetting Collinsworth hasn’t been traded to a greasy spoon outside Cincinnati where that Piccadilly dipschnitt can ramble on about “here’s a guy” to the four barflies who stumble in for coffee at 2 AM. 1 2 Quote
Giuseppe Tognarelli Posted March 21, 2022 Posted March 21, 2022 Michaels will be continuing part-time with NBC as well Quote
Freddie's Dead Posted March 22, 2022 Posted March 22, 2022 Herbie gonna do well. He's paid his dues, he deserves a good spot. 1 Quote
davefan66 Posted March 22, 2022 Posted March 22, 2022 Not a fan of Michael’s, but he should be tolerable without Collinsworth. . Quote
Ray Stonada Posted March 22, 2022 Posted March 22, 2022 I used to love Al Michaels back in the Al, Frank and Dan MNF days, but the last couple years he seems kind of bored and above it all. Might be time for him to turn it in. 3 Quote

I think Michaels said there was a choice between new partner or retiring. The "last Superbowl" he would do was regarding SNF for NBC. 1 Quote

SoMAn Posted March 26, 2022 Posted March 26, 2022 (edited) Question about Amazon broadcasts… can they be watched at your convenience on your watch as are most streaming offerings, or can you only watch live? I have DIRECTV and DVR and always record games. I usually watch in real time, but it’s a nice feature being able to pause, rewind, forward, or go back at a later time to review. We can’t record from streaming services with the DVR, but the benefit is the content is usually available as long as you’re a subscriber. So, with live sports like NFL football, are games available after original airing? Edited March 26, 2022 by SoMAn Quote
