Chandler#81 Posted March 20, 2022 Posted March 20, 2022 (edited) 1st Home playoff game in nearly a quarter century. We had finally ARRIVED! Edited March 20, 2022 by Chandler#81 1 Quote
freddyjj Posted March 20, 2022 Posted March 20, 2022 Went to this game and sat at midfield 20 rows up behind Bills bench. The group behind us were all dressed in Oilers garb - Mike Munchak's family. He was an All Pro guard for Houston. The only play I remember is a blocked punt by Bills Quote
Chandler#81 Posted March 20, 2022 Author Posted March 20, 2022 Huge play! We were about to give the ball back to Moon with a chance to tie the game in the final minutes. Fun to see rookie Thurman Thomas play 2nd fiddle to Robb Riddick! Quote
Helpmenow Posted March 20, 2022 Posted March 20, 2022 Sat on the bills side upper deck area. Rob riddick and trumaine Johnson 2 Quote
PonyBoy Posted March 20, 2022 Posted March 20, 2022 I love these for the old commercials. Forgot about the Bosworth, Hagler Right Guard commercials. Those were clever. 1 1 Quote
Ray Stonada Posted March 20, 2022 Posted March 20, 2022 I was a big Riddick fan that season, also Bruce, Conlan, Bennett, and Smerlas. I was 13. Had a t shirt with all those defensive guys on it that said “Bills Sack Club.” Good times 2 Quote

Also had 2 missed FGs. Man the Bills offense was anemic in 1988 Quote

ALLEN1QB Posted March 21, 2022 Posted March 21, 2022 Blast from the past. - Jerry Glanville was awesome - 34 did not seem so dominating in 88 - Loved #12 but have to wonder how we would have done with Josh Allen. I say we go 4-0. Quote

They definitely wouldn't have designed runs for him the way they do now. Back then defense's could play defense unlike today. My guess is if Allen played in that era he would be a bigger version of Elway. Elway could scramble to avoid the rush but basically he used his rocket of an arm to throw the ball all over the place. I hope the Bills get away from those designed runs this year. No reason to have the franchise taking extra shots. Eventually that will catch up with him. Quote
