To me the Colts are a QB away from being a championship team. How in the world with all this QB carousel going on they just trade off their starting QB, sit back and watch any and all valid QBs get realigned with new teams and they just stand pat??!!! Especially that they have a lunatic owner and they do NOTHING??! It just doesn’t make sense. At one point I was wondering if they were going to blow off the dust and try and get Andrew Luck out of retirement but that just doesn’t sit right the more I think about it. The only thing that I could come up with that would make any kind of sense is that the Colts works something out for Matty Ice. The Falcons don’t have squat going on and looks to be a great candidate for a complete rebuild. It wouldn’t surprise me if the Colts cough up a 1st rd pick for Ryan. I’m not sure what they have for draft picks because of what they paid for Wentz but I’m pretty sure without looking that they still have their 2023 1st rd pick. If somebody could weigh in and suggest a better solution it would be greatly appreciated.

If the Colts give up a first, much less a seventh for Matty Ice, I’ll rip off Brennan’s other ear and eat it.

Well I'd be almost certain they are trying. Wouldn't be shocked to see it happen. But who knows.

I think they figure they can get Jimmy G easily if they want to as a worst case scenario.

Well the Colts are really the only team that absolutely needs to make a move for a QB, who else are they competing with for Baker or Jimmy G? Nobody. They should go after Baker, Cleveland has to move him so I’d say the Colts are in a good spot.

I wonder why Mariota hasn't had his 2nd chance yet. I haven't heard anything about him as he's a FA. I think Reich would be able to work with him. Plus it wouldn't cost any draft capital.

I could see SF holding onto Jimmy G. Is lance ready? He didn’t look ready last season. I could see them hedging their bets a little with a guy who stared the NFC Championship game a few months ago

Baker will get dealt, but I bet the Browns send him to NO

Fitz.....  If Colts were a QB away from being SB caliber team, they wouldn't have been blown out, and humiliated by the Jags in their most important game of the year. Not sure Reich is all that good either. Don't really care, the Colts belonged in Baltimore, the ownership are carpetbaggers. I hope they win 2 games next year.

How likely is it that Cleveland will allow Baker to go to Indy?

Not likely. Some NFC teams need QBs... and he definitely seems like an NFC QB.

Shanahan absolutely didn’t want to play Lance last year but they did spend three first round picks to move up for Lance. Seems crazy not to let him start next year.

Fitz is 39 and has a bad hip. He’s never going to play again.

I see Ryan as making the most sense.  Then again, it kind of reminds me of bringing in Phillip Rivers.  It’s a stop gap move and there’s not much there for the future.  I don’t see Indy tripping over themselves to bring in Mayfield
