YoloinOhio Posted March 19, 2022 Posted March 19, 2022 Browns are signing Brissett to back up Watson. I think Brissett sucks but that might be mostly from watching him play the Bills 2 Quote
Buffalo_Stampede Posted March 19, 2022 Posted March 19, 2022 Looks like Barkley is coming back also. 8 Quote

Logic Posted March 19, 2022 Posted March 19, 2022 (edited) I’m betting Bills give him a new multi-year deal, with a lower cap hit this season. Echoing what others said, I like the pickup. One of the better backups in the league. Knows he’s a backup, so might stick around a few seasons. Knowledge to share with Josh. Rapport with Diggs. If you need him for five games, he can win you 3 of them and keep your season alive. Good get. EDIT: Barkley coming back too, as the new Davis Webb practice squad guy? Sign me up. Players said he did A LOT for the locker room, team culture, organizing workouts and get-together. Etc Edited March 19, 2022 by Logic 1 7 3 1 Quote
brianthomas Posted March 19, 2022 Posted March 19, 2022 When Case played in Houston back in college, i thought he had a really good arm & projected well to the pro's. It hasn't really worked out for him but he can definitely win us games & has a better arm than Barkley or some of the other options. Beane has been methodical this offseason. Checking off the needs one by one. Cross backup QB off your list, all for a 7th. GO BILLS! 5 Quote
Doc Posted March 19, 2022 Posted March 19, 2022 If Beane can make add-on an extra year for no additional money, it will be a slam dunk. Quote
BillsSbSoon Posted March 19, 2022 Posted March 19, 2022 That is a heck of a great trade for a guy that can win games in this league. Hopefully we can lower the cap hit and have him around for a couple years instead of 1 Quote
KCNC Posted March 19, 2022 Posted March 19, 2022 I like it. Good solid backup and has a history with Diggs of course 1 Quote
stevewin Posted March 19, 2022 Posted March 19, 2022 Wonder if they included Josh at all in the process Quote
Buffalo_Stampede Posted March 19, 2022 Posted March 19, 2022 Not official yet. Maybe they need to create cap space 1st. Quote
Dan Darragh Posted March 19, 2022 Posted March 19, 2022 I think we retired #5 when Tyrod left, no? 1 Quote
MrEpsYtown Posted March 19, 2022 Posted March 19, 2022 I definitely hate it for that contract, so I am assuming they restructure or extend. Quote
Steptide Posted March 19, 2022 Posted March 19, 2022 I guess this is better than drafting a qb in the 7th round, but other than that 🤮 1 Quote

Doc Posted March 19, 2022 Posted March 19, 2022 The roster bonus was due today. I'm expecting the Bills made the Brown pay it before trading for him. Still gotta do something with that $6M salary though. Quote

LyndonvilleBill Posted March 19, 2022 Posted March 19, 2022 I like it. Plus it will give all the new Biils (Brownie) fans someone they are familiar with on the sidelines.😁 2 1 Quote
Milanos Milano Posted March 19, 2022 Posted March 19, 2022 Great trade. I feel like Keenum could take us to the super bowl with our current squad if something ever happened to Josh. He’s not worse than Trent Dilfer is what I mean. 1 1 Quote
