without a drought Posted March 25, 2022 Posted March 25, 2022 The only choice here looks like they should move on from Diggs and bring back Duke Williams. Josh will make him a 100 catch 1400 yard receiver. 2 Quote

skibum Posted March 26, 2022 Posted March 26, 2022 If business is business, then Diggs should acknowledge that he signed a CONTRACT to play for $14M per. Every player has to know that salaries will continue to rise the minute they sign, and if they sign for several years, their salary is going to become obsolete at some point. These guys can't complain about being underpaid, because they should have known it would happen. Oh yeah, and he's making enough money for he and his offspring to live lavishly for a long time. So if he wants to get bent out of shape over these huge new deals, then I say send him packing. If you aren't happy making $14M a year while playing on a dominant team with an amazing QB and a great culture, where the fans worship you, then F off. Stop comparing yourself to other WRs; take a step back and look at your life for a minute. 1 1 2 Quote

boater Posted March 26, 2022 Posted March 26, 2022 Stefon is 28 years old. Let's see if he puts up elite numbers this year. If so, award him an elite contract. Quote
BigdaddyinOrlando Posted March 26, 2022 Posted March 26, 2022 With the skyrocketing cost of the wrs now, I can see a shift away from huge contracts much like the way it changed for rb position. Plus the guys out of college are so developed now and able to step in right away unlike a few years ago. That being said I hope to keep Diggs on the team. Tough decisions for sure Quote

Also the business of pro sports is a little different than most businesses Edited March 26, 2022 by nucci Quote

I doubt Trevon is just posting this as a random thought. Give the man an extension and some money up front with an out after a few seasons. He's too important to what we're currently building for him to be unhappy or ask for a trade. Edited March 26, 2022 by BillsFanForever19 Quote

SCBills Posted March 26, 2022 Posted March 26, 2022 Cool.. Dallas can give us 24, 56 & 128 plus a mid-round pick next year. Flip 128 for Bradberry and away we go. Quote

Yup, if they want to give us a haul like KC got from Miami, I'll drive Diggs to the airport. It's just business. 3 1 Quote
