BillsGuyInMalta Posted September 10, 2004 Posted September 10, 2004 WOW IS DALLAS CLARK REALLY THAT FAST?!!! He outran the whole secondary! Including Law... 24688 They teach em' good out in Iowa...
jarthur31 Posted September 10, 2004 Author Posted September 10, 2004 Lack of discipline from the Pats safeties and LB's have led to a HUGE pass play to the Colt's TE/FB. It was like a 50 yard completion. Dungy has to pound it in again if he wants six!
Corp000085 Posted September 10, 2004 Posted September 10, 2004 i think law is hurt though. they were working on him on the previous drive.
Realist Posted September 10, 2004 Posted September 10, 2004 Manning is fabulous at the play action. Agree with Al, he must be the best in the league.
BillsGuyInMalta Posted September 10, 2004 Posted September 10, 2004 Just dont try to force anything Colts and you'll take the lead into the half.
CosmicBills Posted September 10, 2004 Posted September 10, 2004 That was a great drive by Indy... Even though I don't like either team, I gotta say this has been an entertaining half of football so far!
BillsGuyInMalta Posted September 10, 2004 Posted September 10, 2004 Daaaaayyyum, this CANT be last year's NE defense...they dun are playing like crap!
Corp000085 Posted September 10, 2004 Posted September 10, 2004 great foot drag by mh. 17-10 dolts edit: nice kelly to reed stats going on there!
BillsGuyInMalta Posted September 10, 2004 Posted September 10, 2004 And hey! We got a little recognition on MNF (or I guess it would be Thursday Night Football). Kelly to Reed baby
Frez Posted September 10, 2004 Posted September 10, 2004 Manning and Brady both look sharp tonight. I hope we see the same from our Qb on Sunday! Marvin Harrison is the BEST!
jarthur31 Posted September 10, 2004 Author Posted September 10, 2004 Wow, they were lucky on this drive. One busted play was almost broken up by a sack. Then, Peyton grossly underthrew a fade. Dungy was playing with fire by opting not to run it in here. Then again, the Pats D was keying on the run. Colts 17-10. Pats won't sit on the ball with 30 secs left till halftime.
BillsGuyInMalta Posted September 10, 2004 Posted September 10, 2004 Colts better be careful...you dont want the Patriots to score and ruin your momentum since you get ball at the half.
Corp000085 Posted September 10, 2004 Posted September 10, 2004 isn't vinatierri so ripe for a game blowing kick? i hate this guy simply because he hit it and norwood missed.
CosmicBills Posted September 10, 2004 Posted September 10, 2004 isn't vinatierri so ripe for a game blowing kick? i hate this guy simply because he hit it and norwood missed. 24713 He never made Norwood's kick. Both of his SB kicks were when the Pats were tied (weren't they?)...not nearly as much pressure.
jarthur31 Posted September 10, 2004 Author Posted September 10, 2004 Freaky ending to the half. On the spike, Brady hit his lineman on the calf and it appeared the backjudge would rule it a lateral/fumble? (backward pass). FG by Pats has closed the scoring at 17-13, Colts. This shouldn't have happened because of a missed assignment on the TE who got open deep for a 25 yard completion.
KurtGodel77 Posted September 10, 2004 Posted September 10, 2004 I've decided that my hate for the Pats exceeds my hate for the Colts. Go Indy!
IDBillzFan Posted September 10, 2004 Posted September 10, 2004 What does this tell you: Colts go nine plays...nine rushes...and score a touchdown on a run. How happy are you to have two running backs? Keith Traylor is getting clobbered. God DAMN I'm glad football is back.
jarthur31 Posted September 10, 2004 Author Posted September 10, 2004 Conversely, the Colts defense isn't gonna win any awards either.
jarthur31 Posted September 10, 2004 Author Posted September 10, 2004 Glad I wasn't the only one who noticed that. He had at least 15 yards to return it. I hope they cut him.
