Rubes Posted March 17, 2022 Posted March 17, 2022 Pretty much knew this was coming. Nobody would offer a draft pick for him and his salary. 1 1 Quote

Popular Post Magox Posted March 17, 2022 Popular Post Posted March 17, 2022 (edited) Loved what he brought to the table. Came up big in big games, super dependable, tough and very productive for the Bills. Great signing and helped Josh in his development. He will be missed but it’s the right move. The Jokeman Posted March 17, 2022 Posted March 17, 2022 I hope we have a vet in mind to replace him, I was good releasing him with McKissic in the fold but now that we don't we need to find a veteran to replace him. I'd be okay with a one year rental and drafting a kid to develop yet I'm not 100% sold on McKenzie and a rookie alone filling the role especially with no Manny Sanders too. 2 Quote
Virgil Posted March 17, 2022 Posted March 17, 2022 Loved what he did here for a while, but just was too much of a distraction considering his declining production. I really hope we can find someone who can find gaps in the zone like he could 8 1 14 Quote
SCBills Posted March 17, 2022 Posted March 17, 2022 Thanks for everything Cole! Instrumental in Josh's development and helping us build this team. 19 1 1 5 Quote

I really appreciated Cole’s contribution to this team over the past seasons. He has been an elite slot wide receiver and should be appreciated for that. We can all wish him nothing but the best for the future. Edited March 17, 2022 by MiltonWaddams 11 5 1 2 Quote

I'm guessing Mckenzie is going to be the slot WR, they can still sign someone obviously but this is my guess. 1 1 1 Quote
Rc2catch Posted March 17, 2022 Posted March 17, 2022 It’s definitely the right move to let him go, but let’s not pretend like this is an easy fill. Beasley has been insanely clutch for this team. We are not a better offense without him even with him on the decline. 5 1 12 Quote
DaggersEOD Posted March 17, 2022 Posted March 17, 2022 All I know is that when a drive involved Beas and Davis, we scored touchdowns. I hope they have a plan because that combo route was the engine the drive our O. 1 Quote
Jauronimo Posted March 17, 2022 Posted March 17, 2022 He was amazing in 2020. Absolutely unreal. He caught everything around him and made so many clutch grabs. 2021, not so much. I believe he played with broken ribs much of the season which can't be fun but it really looked like he lost a step. The insane separation he used to get and the automatic YAC wasn't there. He was still a dependable chain mover but he had a few drops. Probably unfair to compare his performance against 2020 but its a natural thing to do. Time to get younger and more explosive. 7 1 Quote
