There are three strands to the Biden story

1) The decades-old Delaware family business selling Joe’s influence to the highest bidder which was internationalized when he became vice president. The concern is that millions of dollars which flowed to the Biden family from China, Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Romania, and elsewhere, may have compromised the president.

2) Evidence of Joe Biden’s involvement and potential financial benefit in Hunter and Jim’s foreign deals, despite his repeated denials that he knew anything about his family’s business. Material from the laptop and from Bobulinski suggests he met with more than a dozen of Hunter’s business partners, including overseas, in the White House, at the VP’s Washington residence and at a three-for-one dinner at Café Milano in Georgetown on April 16, 2015, to which Hunter invited partners from Ukraine, Russia and Kazakhstan.

3) The coverup.

I don’t see this happening.  For every Biden, there’s a Republican doppelgänger.  These people are above the law, and where money and influence converge, they ultimately protect one another.

I think this is most likely..

It's the Joe Biden cover-up case

SCOTT W. JOHNSON October 07, 2022

The Hunter Biden case is not the Hunter Biden case. It’s the Joe Biden case. All the rest is the saga of a corrupt and degraded reprobate.

Yesterday someone somewhere leaked to the Washington Post that the years-long investigation of Hunter may warrant a prosecution on tax and gun charges. He may even have to pay a fine.

It is impossible to be too cynical about the Post story. Reading between the lines, one can only see the coverup of the Biden family corruption at work.

You never look at any of the Twitter replies - why?

lmao

idiots - how much has Trump pillaged the United States treasury? Over charging at his resorts? Pompeo refused to release that info in 2020 - why?

Idiots

You didn’t care that China gaveTrump $5.4M?

Why does Trump owe China $211 M?

Of course these idiots didn’t mind when China fast tracked patents and trademarks for Ivanka right?

OK @BillStime , I'll give you that. ALL of it.  But how does that let anyone else off the hook for crimes?

It's one of the first thing I learned in grammar school. When you get caught,if you say "Johnny did it too", you're still in just as much trouble if not more.

Everyone guilty should rot in jail.  The hypocrisy he's pointing out is very real and very obvious.

Why haven't the people on the right here called out the sketchy things team orange dumbazz have done over the past few years?

It's hard to put faith in stories that come from the right because of all the conspiracies.   You may blame the media but it's only partially on them.

Afternoon Ron

When the ‘sketchy things’ rise to the level of:

Spying on a campaign and an administration.

Boycotting an inauguration.

Setting up a fake narrative to stage an impeachment.

Tearing up the State of the Union address.

Lying to the American people by burying the truth about the candidate before an election.

When it gets that sketchy, feel free to get back to us.

Not one of the 51 had seen any material from the laptop or bothered asking for it, but their letter, instigated by, signed and delivered to Politico by Democratic operative and former John Brennan aide Nick Shapiro, killed the story stone dead. It got candidate Joe Biden off the hook for the corrupt influence-peddling scheme his family had been running through the eight years of his vice presidency

The letter, like the Steele dossier and Russia collusion hoax peddled by many of the signatories, has helped fuel a moral panic about Russia in recent years that now has heightened the risk of nuclear war.

As well as sharing their Trump derangement, the Dirty 51 sit on the same boards and think tanks, speak at the same events or liberal TV shows, write for the same publications, pal around with the same journalists, retweet each other’s “Slava Ukraini” or Mar-a-Lago memes, share hawkish views about regime change in Russia and are remarkably sanguine about the prospect of nuclear war.

Gonna be a lot of hearings coming.

And they will be political just like they all are.

The difference will be that morons like chigoose will suddenly come around and magically see the political optics at play.
