The Wiz Posted March 17, 2022 Posted March 17, 2022 (edited) Allow me to respond in the same manner I did when all the restructuring of contracts happened. Welcome to the NFL, Where the salary cap is made up and the players contracts don't matter. Edited March 17, 2022 by The Wiz 1 2 Quote
Governor Posted March 17, 2022 Posted March 17, 2022 Beasley will be cut regardless. Now it’s time to trade Edmunds for Hunter. Boom! Quote

TheyCallMeAndy Posted March 17, 2022 Posted March 17, 2022 I wonder if we realistically could see the end of the salary cap in the NFL some day? Quote
DCofNC Posted March 17, 2022 Posted March 17, 2022 Trade Edmunds for a couple dozen wings and Boom space open. Quote
billybrew1 Posted March 17, 2022 Posted March 17, 2022 We just keep pushing money into the following years like all the big clubs…. Every year the Cowboys are like 37 mill over the cap and then they sign someone…. 1 Quote

Lot of creativity. What we saw today is the Bills' version of going all in for the Superbowl but not spending a single draft pick 2 Quote

Welcome to the NFL, Where the salary cap is made up and the players contracts don't matter. Funny for sure. But certainly not true. The cap matters, but it isn't as restricting as many people imagine. Given the cap is about to rise dramatically in the next year or two, this is probably the perfect time to pull the trigger on something like this, IMO. Yes it will still matter down the road, but I think it will be much more manageable with less impact when the big cap hit from this contract comes around. Quote

Like how the Saints were in cap jail this year and managed to move 90 million dollars around. Come to think of it the Saints have been in cap hell since signing Jarius Byrd. 1 Quote
