Josh will have us playing with large leads and Von Miller will be able to just tee off. This should allow him to flourish, the corners will benefit and Rousseau and Basham will most likely learn a few things to improve their game.

And Miller will be platooned, like everyone else, so he won't have to carry the team.

You don't give a 33 yr old way past him prime a 6 year contract. No way no how! A 2 or 3 year contract absolutely. This will come back to hurt us. Hopefully, he can get us a Super Bowl before his legs fall off.

Try reading practically every other post in the thread, where it say's it's basically a 3-year $17.6M/year deal.

Where are people getting he’s way past his prime lol not to mention it likely only is a 3 year contract so this is a pretty odd post

It's not a 6 year contract.

Would you be saying the same thing if we got 2 Lombardi trophies?

Of course not. My issue is the contract. You really think he's going have anything left in year 3, 4, 5, and 6? The Bills brass made a terrible financial decision long term. Chandler Jones was a much better asset.

Don’t waste your time talking football 101 with that one.  He really thinks this is a 6 year 120M contract

He’s not going to be on the team in year 4, 5 or 6!!!!!!! mcfly GIF
It’s the same exact deal

as Chandler Jones and we don’t run the same system as Gus Bradley. We didn’t want to come to Buffalo. He’s his choice

The contract is designed specifically with that in mind lol the extra years are to help the bills by giving them wiggle room for cap hits and whatnot…both sides know he likely will not play that long

Ok buddy, whatever you say!

I've been on this board since it's inception (just don't post a lot) and I am one of the biggest Bills fans that you'd ever meet.

This identity has only been around since 2018.

It's the same contract as Chandler Jones but with cap pushed back. So 2 years from now there will be a high cap hit but there ways to work around it. Josh Allen has huge base salaries. The easiest way to clear cap in 2024 and 2025 will be to convert those base salaries to bonus cash. Plus the TV money will boost the cap a lot.

In other words don't worry about the cap numbers.

You really need to understand the way the contract is structured. It isn’t a 6 year $120 mil guaranteed contract. You actually are proving the point it is a very good deal.
