Yeah I think that's fair. Also think he won't be playing the same % of snaps he has the last few years. Should be selective in how we use him to hopefully get the most bang for our buck when it matters most. Eg. Regular season games vs the Jets there's really no reason for him to play >50% of the snaps. This is the situation where the DL rotation works most advantageous. 1 Quote

Yeah, I looked at his snap % and it hasn’t really dropped over his career, consistently 75-85%. Quote

Well done Beane. Best FA signing since Mario. Anyone know how he’s done against Mahomes? I’m sure he has a healthy dislike for Chiefs. Go Bills!! Quote
Nextmanup Posted March 17, 2022 Posted March 17, 2022 This reminds me of acquiring Biscuit back in the day, sort of. Quote

But the first game of the year isn't too bad, as there is no short week, and you get a long week after it. But yes, as a rule I like all games at 1PM Eastern IF they were all just randomly handed out. But since better teams get primetime games, I guess I'll happily get used to it. Quote
cale Posted March 17, 2022 Posted March 17, 2022 We're selling out for 2-3 years in the hopes of winning 1-2 Superbowls. I'm down with it. 1 Quote

I do too but in this case consider… we have to play on Thursday at some point in the season, might as well do it week 1 when not on a short week. Plus, the cross country travel. Get that out of the way week 1 with 10 days to get back and ready for week 2. Then you have the potential SB hangover week 1 for the lambs. 1 Quote
DapperCam Posted March 17, 2022 Posted March 17, 2022 Hopefully he can be a mentor and show the young pass rushers how it's done. I also kind of hope he's on a "pitch count" with snaps ramping up at the end of the year and playoffs. Quote

It especially sucks for me because I’m hoping to go to that game and it’s tougher for me to get off on Sept than the rest of the season. Quote
iccrewman112 Posted March 17, 2022 Posted March 17, 2022 I’m worried about Von Miller and how he’ll fit into our d-line rotation. Historically he plays too many snaps. I have listed his snap percentage by year. Not sure how he will accept being only allowed to play 48% of snaps per game. 90% 84% 84% 76% 81% 86% 78% 84% 76% 79% 1 Quote
MTBill Posted March 17, 2022 Posted March 17, 2022 We got the worst 13 seconds in FB history, and applied Newton's 3rd law. For every failure to stop the Chiefs, there is a Von Miller to make those stops. Given all the crazy QBs in the AFC, this is amazing. How do you fund a stadium? Sign a superstar on the D to go with Josh Allen. Oh, and get him OJ, not that OJ. What a wild, amazing, day. Go Bills! Quote

I think Miller will be in the high 60% of snap counts. 2 Quote
