Yet another recent high priced, "big splash" addition to a team that was much ballyhooed by the media, and then didn't work out very well and the guy was released a year into his deal.

These big names on the back nine of their careers don't always work out the way fans think they will...

Sit him all season except for snaps inside the redzone.

Ā

Even then, his primary role will just be being a decoy... At least in that scenario, he might make it through 3 or 4 games, and then he'll have another 14 weeks to recover in time for 3 or 4 more postseason games!Ā šŸ˜†

I mean the Redzone was never his strong suit. Ā Not exactly a TD machine. Ā

His ACL?

If Josh Gordon can keep coming back. Jones can.

The man is squeaky clean, doesn't drink and takes care of his body.Ā

Ā

He just had a couple ***** injury years in a row. No reason to write him off yet imo

I don't think he has much left, but I'm sure somebody will sign him. He'll be OK for the 5-6 games he's healthy & active.

Ā

I'd rather have Gabe than Julio at this point, and it's not even close.

I think they are the best comparison and I agree with your assessment.

Honestly, Julio could come cheap. I couldn't see any team giving him anymore than a 1 year contract after what he did last season and if we could get him on a TO type deal 1 yr 5-7 mill. Why not?

He's washed.

But that doesn't mean Beane wont sign him.

See Emmanuel Sanders or for that matter Anquon Bolden

Ā

Or OJ Howard etc etc....

You two laughers must share the same account huh?

Ā

This guy is 2 years removed from 6 straight 1300+ yard seasons.Ā

Wrong

Btw....I'm not advocating for signing Julio. I just don't think he's done yet.Ā

Does Vegas have us as favorites for him?

Not sure where to find that, site from random google search had us tied for 2nd with the Pats and the Bucs in first. Also saw something while dumpster diving in twitter that Tom is trying to recruit him.
