I believe there's a provision for this, but I forget the term. But that's also a reason to not tender him where the lowest tender is $2.4M or something like that - other teams may be wary of signing a guy coming back from an ACL, so if we want him, we can make him an offer and bring him into camp. I *think* (not 100% sure) that if he's still rehabbing a football-related injury, he can continue to use our trainers and facility for his rehab. Quote

Tore it Oct. 18th, so if things took the typical course, he had surgery ~Nov 14 and would hit 9 months post-surgery in mid-August. (9 months is significant because of data showing that athletes who return earlier than 9 months are 7x more likely to re-injure) Quote
The Jokeman Posted March 16, 2022 Posted March 16, 2022 He could be like McKenzie and come back as he's a depth and not horrible. Quote
GolfandBills Posted March 16, 2022 Posted March 16, 2022 They can bring him back for a lot less than the tender cost Quote

DCofNC Posted March 16, 2022 Posted March 16, 2022 Not tendered doesn’t mean they won’t resign him, just means they aren’t committed to it right now. If he leaves, I hope he gets a shot and does well, love his hustle. 1 Quote
CSBill Posted March 17, 2022 Posted March 17, 2022 I do hope he comes back. Love his work ethic and hustle, and I think he has been very productive. .... I would love to see him in the bruiser TE role like Baltimore uses. 1 Quote
