Or he prioritized his family and not wanting to move and calling Washington home.  Family is bigger than football, so I get it from that perspective.

A good daycare is hard to find? 🤔

I mean, we all know this 3 day tampering period isnt anything official until the league year technically starts today.

NONE of the reported agreements this week are official signings until this afternoon. Any and all of them can change.

tampering period is useless. Just start FA a few days sooner. This is dumb

What a yutz. When I see players sign with teams like Jax, NYJ, and Washington, I just think to myself, "Huh. Winning must not be important to them." Money is all well and good and I get maximizing your talent but if you're being offered the exact same deal from two teams, one that's been a dumpster fire for years and one in a legitimate Super Bowl window and you chose the dumpster fire then I dunno what to tell you.

I can see that, but also being a part of turning a team around can be fun too. And usually those teams throw around more money.

But it rarely happens and when it does it’s huge contract guys.  What’s the rush in announcing a deal for a $3.5m per year RB if there was a chance of changing his mind?  Nothing about this smells right.  I’m predicting a McCaffrey trade announced shortly.

please get off that narrative....they're all here for the money

Meh. I think some players take hometown discounts - best example being Milano.

Apparently the WTFs didn't even offer, so when they matched he decided he didn't want to leave.

Eyerolling this narrative, not your post.  It's possible he has a family in Washington or likes the idea of catching passes from Wentz and "all things being equal" would rather stay with the same team.

But I'd guess when it came down to the actual contract, there were some details he didn't like.

They just traded for Carson Wentz if they were trying to turn the team around they did a 360.

Don't be silly, they're here for the love of the Bills.

Clearly.

Did the Bills announce it or someone on the twitter?

I was looking forward to seeing what he could do in the short passing area, seems like his YAC is really good. Not cool to dupe a team, though. Buffalo was interested in him once and now he blew that chance for good.

He obviously has a great working relationship with their QB. lol.
