That's some real lack of self awareness right there.

He and Sammy should land in the same spot so they can talk smack about the people in their “little jobs”.     🙄

We’ll he’s losing options at this point.  NO, Carolina, and maybe Seattle.  They haven’t traded for him yet so it’s a safe bet he won’t get traded until after the draft if at all.

He was really banged up and may have hurt himself as if he pulled out mid year, his stock would probably be higher now.

I meant to add per Spotrac Carolina has $30.8 mil., NO has $20.5 mil.,and Seattle has $15.6 mil.  As of today Cleveland I thought owes BM $18.8 mil, and they have $19.6 available pre Watson contract.

Its just a matter of whether any of these three teams see him as that much of an upgrade over what’s on their roster.  Also, do they see any value in if the top. Draft prospects.  This draft is pretty weak at QB.

Next year is much better so they may want to rent Mayfield for a year, and then draft a much better class next year.

Say what you want about the guy, but he is arguably better than 15 of the guys who will start for NFL teams next year.     Think he'd be a hell of a smart pickup for Seattle this year, if they can cut some salary in the trade.

.....and all of the bottom 15 teams are looking to upgrade and get a franchise QB.  That's hardly the bar to clear and not sure would qualify as a smart pickup for Seattle.  Maybe Cleveland is still asking for too much to trade for Mayfield, but there does not seem to be much interest....guess that demonstrates what the rest of the league thinks of him.

He would only be smart if they weren't rebuilding.

Other teams know he's going to get cut. Browns can't have Baker suit up this year. That relationship is so bad right now. If Trubisky got another shot, Baker will too

If they don’t like any draft picks, they could inherit the $18 mil, owes BM.  I don’t see anyone at this point giving away any high draft picks for him this year.  He’s still good enough to play as an avg. NFL QB.

Next years draft is supposed to be much better at QB.  It’s all spec. At this point.

Some of that stuff Baker was saying about struggling to motivate guys that get paid a ton of money to win is so cringe. Can’t even imagine Josh saying stuff like that.

I thank the good Lord above that we picked the right QB from that class. Easily could’ve F’d up that decision and instead Beane delivered.

He did throw his coaches and locker room under the bus. I didn’t finish the whole thing but that part was bad. He’s still technically on the team

Yeah, thank goodness Beane didn't listen to the guys tweeting the replies to this back in 2018...

Mitch wasn’t a malcontent who was known in league circles as having a childish attitude. Baker has talent and can be a starting QB in the NFL, but has a lot of self-reflection and improvement to take on.
