YoloinOhio Posted March 17, 2022 Author Posted March 17, 2022 Baker Mayfield and the Browns are perfect for each other. Both of them have inflated opinions of their brilliance and are routinely laughed at by everyone else in the league. 3 1 1 Quote

The fans dont deserve having to deal with Haslam. Indy. I suppose. Yet if I'm Frank Reich he's no soldier and not surrending a 1st for him. Quote
Doc Posted March 17, 2022 Posted March 17, 2022 Did the Browns offer Mayfield an extension last off-season? Quote

Milanos Milano Posted March 17, 2022 Posted March 17, 2022 Did Haslam install subway tile without asking Mayfield? Quote
Chandler#81 Posted March 17, 2022 Posted March 17, 2022 There’s still a few teams needing a starting QB, but Mayfield is a jerk which will not be overcome easily, imo. 1 Quote

Former #1 pick Heisman trophy winner. Gugny is correct, he should have kept his mouth shut. That tweet will end up costing the Borwns and himself a lot. And the Browns FO is incredibly inept with how they handled this. Bro they escalated it first by going for Watson and being sketchy. Eff the Browns. They deserve another 15 years of being a poverty franchise. 5 Quote

Reich could use a little of Mayfield's fire, and Mayfield could use a little of Reich's humbleness. edit: If Reich can work with 1980s Jim Kelly, he can DEFINITELY handle Baker Mayfield. Alphadawg7 Posted March 17, 2022 Posted March 17, 2022 Despite what anyone thinks of Baker, I have to say the Browns handled this whole situation terribly, and basically in line with how the Browns always do dumb things. Not meant in any type of defense of Baker, but I don't blame him for wanting out the way the Browns handled this whole ordeal. 4 6 Quote

Watson wasnt going to Cleveland anyway when he has more hospitable venues to play, Cleveland might be one of the worst for a pass heavy QB. Quote

Captain Hindsight Posted March 17, 2022 Posted March 17, 2022 So Baker is pissed that the Browns tried to acquire Watson, who was picked by Houston after making a trade with Cleveland in the 2017 Draft. The Browns took Mayfield and passed over Josh Allen TWICE to draft Baker and a corner because their current D Cord said he needed him for his defense to run but then they fired him a year later Did I miss anything? 1 Quote

Nope, that pretty much explains why the Browns are a laughingstock. Quote

FilthyBeast Posted March 17, 2022 Posted March 17, 2022 Browns are pretty much in the same situation as the colts in that they have a roster loaded with talent that is close to competing for a SB but a major hole at QB. And now they are going to be in a very awkward position missing out on Watson and now having to trade Mayfield from the fallout of that. Quote
