I'm disappointed. I thought they'd let him test the market and find his price, but we should have retained him for that.

Either tons of faith in Dane Jackson or we are going CB higher in the draft, IMO

The latter..

And hopefuly Tre's recovery is coming along better than expected..

Honestly, I think the bills can do better at the position. Wallace is a solid player, but I believe he's hit his ceiling. We need to draft another young cb to compliment white.

CB/WR in first 2 rounds.

Farewell Levi

Totally agree with this when you look at what they have committed to so far in free agency. And this makes sense, if you hit on players in the first two rounds at positions like CB and WR, you are getting great value in their first 4 years. That's a good element of cap management once the QB is off their rookie deal.

Even if we have tons of  faith in Dane Jackson, we need a good quality replacement....Tre is likely not going to be ready to start the season.

They let him walk for $8M?  I hope they have a good plan B.

I would called him an average or below average CB2. We needed an upgrade at that position for obvious reasons.

Wallace getting the same deal we just gave to a 3rd down running back is interesting.

This was my thought as well. Paying a 3rd down guy over a homegrown every play starter. 😕

The Plan B is to sign another Cornerback who's better or to draft one in the first or second round.

Easier said than done.  Hope you're right though.

Round 1. The best bang for your buck for a starting CB.
