Honestly, I think the bills can do better at the position. Wallace is a solid player, but I believe he's hit his ceiling. We need to draft another young cb to compliment white.

Totally agree with this when you look at what they have committed to so far in free agency. And this makes sense, if you hit on players in the first two rounds at positions like CB and WR, you are getting great value in their first 4 years. That's a good element of cap management once the QB is off their rookie deal.

Even if we have tons of  faith in Dane Jackson, we need a good quality replacement....Tre is likely not going to be ready to start the season.

I'd say that's about this value. Either the Bills disagree, Levi wanted out, or they plan to allocate it on another CB somehow. I guess we'll see.

This is bizarre. I was more than happy to let him walk at projected rate, but for $4M/per I would have been ok with him being the first guy off the bench. Maybe we didn't offer him anything.

That's a really low salary for a starting cb. For his sake, I hope it's really a one-year contract with a dummy year to spread out the cap hit.
