The Bills have shown interest in 84 players in the last day and a half

This was my thoughts as well 😅 Ofcourse they're interested if the price is right

I think Hicks has played end in a 3-4 for the Bears. I presume this would be another DT for us?

He’s had some production for an interior lineman, don’t see the Bears enough to know what he’s got left in the tank.

Hell yeah and see ya Star, contract be damned.

per league

When a player is released (or retires), the team is relieved of having the pay the player's base salary (P5) and any Roster Bonus that may become due after that, but still will need to account for any Signing or Option Bonus prorations that haven't yet counted against the Salary Cap.

Guess this is the $7.7mm everyone says we would have to eat.

Nope. They'd be better off keeping him and not playing him much than they would releasing him. Beane isn't the type of GM to take on 8 million in Dead Cap.

Maybe the interest in Hicks was prior to the Settle/Jones signings?

Wouldn’t put it past an agent to throw this out there.

DTs that can plug up the middle play to the strengths of the others guys. The defense is fairly fast so if you can have 1-2 guys make a big impact in the middle and stop you from getting gashed by runs (on passing downs).. that could make the other guys more effective.
