What hurt Phillips staying in Buffalo was Star sitting out a year.  If Star hadn't sat, could easily dump him this year for next to nothing and then sign Phillips to replace him.  But once Star sat out, it backed his contract up a year to the point, too expensive to cut him, but not worth the money he's being paid and then couldn't afford another big $$ contract for the same position.

free agent overpayment express chugga chugga chugga....seems pricey but Hey Im wishing he well on his football journey moving forward. Great guy. He will always have some Buffalo Bills in his heart after his time here. Thinking specifically about his interactions with Pancho Billa.

 

Its inevitable some guys will sign elsewhere for a payday beyond what most of us could ever dream of. Congrats Harry.

Edit: just caught up with today DL signings. Good to hear we got some reinforcements. Hopefully this round of DL is better than the last batch. I'm optimistic.
