Big time potential.  Had a lot of hype coming out of Va Tech.

Hmmmm, sounds  exactly like someone else he played with on our team from Va tech!  So far we are batting .500 from there with one hall of fame Sack  machine and one sack of unfulfilled potential !  Hope the tie breaker goes favorably for us !  Lol !  (

I admit I’m sad we lost Harry  who was actually living up to his potential and off the field performed  far beyond reasonable expectations.  I actually will feel bad for him if the Bills win a SB just as he leaves after all he went thru. Great guy to cheer for and will take a bit to warm up to the new dts. All the preaching about developing and keeping our own and in my eyes we are letting a good, classy one get paid by another club because we signed a bunch of very avg or worse FA’s on the d line who gave us very little.   Glad we are keeping mckenzie and Morse with some others , but this one is a tough one to see walk out the door 🥲. Glad he’s getting paid , a shame things worked out  this way and his last Bills memory will be 13 seconds of crap !

308 is way too skinny...

That's fixable though and otherwise he seems like a good signing, so let's put the work in at the local eateries and be ready to roll by camp!

He weighed 329 at the combine. After joining the WFT he was challenged by his coaches to lose weight in order to unlock his potential.

He did exactly that.

Very athletic for a big man. With Groot, Oliver, and Settle, it will be a very athletic line. Watching his highlights (and I know they are just highlights from a small sample size), the way he took down QBs and ball carriers (with his length) reminded me of how Groot plays. Also in his highlights, he seems to get good push---playing on the offense's side of the line of scrimmage.

Now that we’ve plugged the hole at DT with a couple solid (and affordable) FA signings, can we rest easy about the Bills squandering the 25th pick on Jordan Davis?  I’d much rather watch him eat himself out of the league on some other team…

Never would've made it to us anyways. CB or wr most likely draft pick imo.

I think they take a CB, but in the second or third, not at 25. But then again, I’m never right about what the Bills are going to do in the draft…

No, Spain is the one out in space blocking nobody.

To his credit, PFF can't ding him for a sack, if he doesn't have anybody to block. It sounds like Spain has been playing 4-D chess, all along 🤔

Seems like he regressed last year, along with the rest of the Washington D.   Only 13 tackles and no sacks in 210 snaps in 2021.   After over 300 snaps and 5 sacks in 2020.

In 2020 he got the extra snaps due to an injury to the other reserve DT. If anything this shows when he get opportunities he shines.

“The Washington Commanders have arguably one of the best defensive lines in the NFL. Jonathan Allen, Daron Payne, Montez Sweat and Chase Young are all former first-round picks.

So, it is sometimes easy to forget about Washington’s other defensive linemen. Matt Ioannidis and Tim Settle are Washington’s reserve defensive tackles, and both could start for other teams. Ioannidis remains a part-time starter and key rotation piece for the Commanders.

What about Settle?

After four years in the NFL, Settle is a free agent and will for an opportunity to start somewhere. He should have multiple options after showing flashes during his time with the Commanders.

Go look at his tape l think you will be impressed
