Process Posted March 14, 2022 Posted March 14, 2022 (edited) Never heard of him. Does he actually fill the need at DT or is he just a backup depth guy? I do like that we are adding to the lines in FA. Use our early draft picks on the big money positions (WR, CB). Edited March 14, 2022 by Process 1 1 Quote
MAJBobby Posted March 14, 2022 Author Posted March 14, 2022 Former Washington Commander. 1 Tech I believe with a 70 grade from PFF for last year. https://www.nfl.com/prospects/tim-settle/32005345-5450-9598-7639-a7d691023bd2 1 Quote

Hard to even sniff the field in Washington with their top 3 DT’s. I think he’s more of an untapped guy still 5 3 Quote
4BillsintheBurgh Posted March 14, 2022 Posted March 14, 2022 Harry out? We haven't dumped Star yet... Quote
MAJBobby Posted March 14, 2022 Author Posted March 14, 2022 “The Washington Commanders have arguably one of the best defensive lines in the NFL. Jonathan Allen, Daron Payne, Montez Sweat and Chase Young are all former first-round picks. So, it is sometimes easy to forget about Washington’s other defensive linemen. Matt Ioannidis and Tim Settle are Washington’s reserve defensive tackles, and both could start for other teams. Ioannidis remains a part-time starter and key rotation piece for the Commanders. What about Settle? After four years in the NFL, Settle is a free agent and will for an opportunity to start somewhere. He should have multiple options after showing flashes during his time with the Commanders. 1 Quote
NewEra Posted March 14, 2022 Posted March 14, 2022 Yes!!! Love me some Tim Settle. Harrison’s replacement? 1 1 1 Quote

JohnBonhamRocks Posted March 14, 2022 Posted March 14, 2022 (edited) Remember liking him in the 2018 draft. From his draft profile: “Settle has rare gifts for a big man with good mass, play strength, quickness, and agility. His substantial jump in production in 2017 was due to weight loss and additional conditioning that allowed him to play more snaps and play faster. He's a disruptive, versatile defensive lineman who offers enough pass rush potential to warrant reps on passing downs. Settle is a natural 4-3 fit but can play in a 3-4 as well. He has the potential to become a very good starter with a Pro Bowl ceiling if he controls his weight and maintains his conditioning.” Edit: BTW his pro comparison was some guy named Vince Wilfork. MiltonWaddams Posted March 14, 2022 Posted March 14, 2022 Had his best season as a pro in 2020. 5 sacks. Last year he had none. Looks like a definite depth signing. Quote
