I’m still confident we work a good deal for both parties with Diggs, but geesh these other receiver deals are blowing the WR market way up.  

 

The key is the "worth up to" part...which likely means there are some incentives in there, some of which likely won't get hit. But still a big contract I am sure.

Can't blame him or his agent, but this will turn the rest of the WR market and those looking for a new deal at the end of their contracts into a **** show for NFL teams.

Seems like every couple years, Jacksonville loses its mind and completely overpays for good (not great) players. I get they need to overpay because the franchise is a joke with an absentee owner, but good lord this is stupid.

With the amount of money that these guys make....if it were me I would be willing to take a little less money to play on a team with a chance to win a Super Bowl.....winning would be more important to me.

Just a horrendous contract. Agents will want this to set the market, I doubt GMs will fall for it. Above Average player getting paid to suddenly be great.
