Blue cheese tastes like spoiled ranch mixed with homeless urine.

You know this how? Asking for a friend…

Is there any reason we got a pro bowl guard for so cheap?

Pro bowl isn't a great indicator of how good someone is. He was a vet with name recognition.

Similar to the Sanders deal, 34 year old vet looking to win on the downside of his career.

Don't really save much money between D. Williams dead cap and the cost to sign Saffold, but the hope is that he fits Kromer's scheme better.

Could also be that they plan on running the ball more which is Saffold's strength. Williams was better in pass pro last season.

Declining player metric wise, wanted to be reunited with his oline coach and compete for a ring.

Add to the fact he probably was smart enough to understand his market this deal isn't that much of a surprise.

Worst case for the Bills is he's just a drop in replacement for Wiliams and/or placeholder for a rookie we draft next month.

1. He was an alternate at the pro bowl.

2. NFL teams know that in reality he is declining.

3. He wanted to play for a contender.

I watched a bunch of the Pats/TEN game the other day, specifically watching him, and he looked GREAT.
