I want to know if he’s going to be a full time WR or are we still experimenting with the PR

I really hope that the 2022 PR is not on the roster.

if Isiah could figure out how to catch punts cleanly, he would be so nasty a returner

This ensure Cole’s release?

Not necessarily. Cole's a solid possession receiver. It's the YAC his game is lacking.

2 years at 8M. That is a very good number for him. Though also at 4M AAV that tells me more in the offensive plans than not.

also losing return duties to Hyde the punt catcher.

i think this seals the deal with Beasley.

I love that McKenzie is back, but hell no to PR. He does well enough in the slot

Cole us definitely gone. He was the moment Brandon Beane asked a question about whether he would be back with the line "Cole can still play in this league."

He was gone long before but I agree this was the moment when Beane confirmed it.

Cole wasn't returning BEFORE this move. After it, there's no way. He was either going to have to take a serious paycut or he'd be released. The fact that he was granted permission to seek a trade says he wasn't interested in the first option.

And there's no way we're keeping him for the role he has on this team with declining stats and his release being able to save us 6.1 million dollars on a team that has far greater needs.
