I believe that's right.............but anyone who doesn't know the difference between trading for and "signing" a player isn't somebody who is deeply "in the know".

I don't know what the point of all these rumors are until he goes to court.  No one is going to touch him not knowing how that'll all play out

Murray

At 5'8 I think he will always crumble under the pressure in the playoffs... Just can't play from the pocket consistently

I don't think he'll ever be a threat to take a team to a Super bowl

It’s called clicks. You don’t get them unless you post some wild ideas.

Agreed.  Houston can either take 10 cents on the dollar now, or wait and get market value.  Or nothing if his career is over.

I bet he’s a Panther by Sunday.  And Darnold is our new backup after he gets cut.

No thanks

They can't cut him it offers no cap savings. They need to trade him to get the salary off the books. He's in last year of his deal so no dead cap if someone trades for him.

I’m sure they’ll try to trade him, but good luck with that.

I mean the texans would probably take darnold back in the deal if they did trade for watson.

New NFL rule. A team cannot have a star quarterback the first season after losing their HOF quarterback. They have to suffer with bad QB play for at least 5 years.

I'm looking at you Colts (Manning to Luck), Packers (Favre to Rogers), Chargers (Brees to Rivers to Herbert).
