junior Posted March 9, 2022 Posted March 9, 2022 Amazing that the Colts got out from underneath. Smart move by our AFC counterpart, and yet another terrible move from an NFC team. Quote
Brand J Posted March 9, 2022 Posted March 9, 2022 This sort of ineptitude used to be us, the Bills. 2 Quote

Let's not praise them too much Edited March 9, 2022 by nucci 1 Quote

Also is Wentz really going to be an upgrade over Heineke? He's really the same type of player (i.e. inconsistent and turnover prone). But can they beat the Jaguars on the road? Quote
ALF Posted March 9, 2022 Posted March 9, 2022 Ian Rapoport @RapSheet The #Colts have now entered the QB race again, and expect them to be in the mix for Jimmy Garoppolo, as well. 1 Quote
PetermansRedemption Posted March 9, 2022 Posted March 9, 2022 I saw a headline Wentz traded to the commanders. My first thought was “Wentz is going to the USFL?” 1 Quote

Aussie Joe Posted March 9, 2022 Posted March 9, 2022 Onto Jimmy G for the colts… Talk about QB purgatory … Quote
turftoe Posted March 9, 2022 Posted March 9, 2022 So who will be the new coach and GM for Washington next year? Quote

Somebody on NFL Now suggested that if they don't want to wait on seeing how Garoppalo comes out of his surgery. The idea is that with their OL and running game, all they need is a game manager, and Trubisky is available. Quote
Big Turk Posted March 9, 2022 Posted March 9, 2022 (edited) Also need to be careful with these thread titles. Nobody can be traded until the beginning of the new league year and a team can decide to cancel this agreed upon but unexecuted trade at any point in time up until that point. In other words, nothing is certain, they have just reached an agreement but as we all know, teams back out of agreements all the time. Edited March 9, 2022 by Big Turk Quote
WhitewalkerInPhilly Posted March 9, 2022 Posted March 9, 2022 Wooooow that is a loss considering what Indy have up to get him. I have no idea what they are going to do. I'm not ruling out that the Commies draft in the first round either Quote
RalphWilson'sNewWar Posted March 9, 2022 Posted March 9, 2022 At this rate … you just got to grind harder than ever just to MAKE the playoffs in the AFC. Ans once your there…Seeding don’t mean ****. 1st, 4th, 7th…bye, no bye…all on the road. Nah! Every single one of those 7 teams got the juice to end you in a blink. Its on. Exciting timeS. Quote
TheyCallMeAndy Posted March 9, 2022 Posted March 9, 2022 Wentz must be a headache behind the scenes, because he isn’t a bad QB. Nearly had a 4-1 TD INT ratio this year and won 11 games. Quote
Buffalosouth Posted March 9, 2022 Posted March 9, 2022 An upgrade but still not enough to command more wins Quote

I'm not a GM but I knew it was a mistake as soon as they traded for him, but yes good move finding someone to take him quickly 1 Quote
