BillsFanForever19 Posted March 9, 2022 Posted March 9, 2022 (edited) Extend Stefon Diggs and Tremaine Edmunds - lowering their cap figure this season. Release Cole Beasley, Jon Feliciano, AJ Klein (done), Matt Haack, and Vernon Butler. Paycut/Restructure Daryl Williams and Mitch Morse Restructure any recently signed players that are open to converting to bonus' or pushing out cap figures. Re-sign Harrison Phillips and Ike Boettger. Tender Ryan Bates and Justin Zimmer. Focus on getting a legitimate starting veteran DE opposite Rousseau via Trade or FA. Sign or trade for a WR. Draft a speed WR with a Day 2 or early Day 3 pick. Draft CB Round 1. Get another RB and TE to compliment Singletary and Knox via FA, Trade, or the Draft. Sign best veteran QB who doesn't get a starting gig. Draft Punt God in Round 5. Gronk will be too expensive. Knox is the man. There will be other options to back up Knox that are far less expensive. Quote

And the Bills are a sight closer to a SB ring than NJ. 😁 Edited March 9, 2022 by Ridgewaycynic2013 😁 Big grin because of facetious idea. Quote

BuffaloRebound Posted March 9, 2022 Posted March 9, 2022 I really hope McBeane surprises us all and goes for it. Weak tea moves so we’re in good salary cap shape 5 years from now while the usual suspects like the Rams and Chiefs load up salary-cap-be-damned would be extremely deflating. Quote
Rock-A-Bye Beasley Posted March 9, 2022 Posted March 9, 2022 (edited) Offense: QB - I'm good RB - Try to trade for McCaffrey or Barkley. otherwise, if Walker Jr or Hall are available in rd 2 take them. if not, take Tyler Badie in 4th. WR - Diggs (New Deal will lower is 2022 cap hit), Trade #25 for DK Metcalf (I'd like to extend him too, but I'd give our 1st for even one year of him), Davis, Beasley traded or paycut, Tyler Badie is new McKenzie. TE - Sign Gronk if the price is right. Otherwise draft Charlie Kolar in rd6 to be TE#2 O-Line - Morse (Re-Work deal, 3 years), Re-structure Dawkins for 2022 cap savings. keep everyone else for now, only cut Williams/Feliciano if cap space as needed or we draft a guy who can play as a rookie. Dawkins - Bates - Morse - (Williams/Feliciano/Ford/Kinnard) - Brown D-Line - DT: Oliver, Draft 1tech mid/late rounds, Star Ankou). DE: Groot, Basham, AJ - just rotate these 3 for 67% of snaps each. draft a late round rookie if the board falls right. LB - Sign Bobby Wagner, if not draft Beavers in round 3. This will be the biggest upgrade. Milano, Dodson. Edmunds (explore trade options, for Mccafrey, Barkley, or a draft pick), i know it's not likely we trade edmunds, but doing so would save a lot of cap space, if there's a replacement in Wagner or Beavers. DB - re-structure White to save 2022 cap space. Let Wallace walk. sign Donte Jackson if not too expensive. Draft Alonte Taylor, and/or Isacc Taylor-Stuart in 3rd or 6th respectively. Jackson and Johnson. Added speed. Didn't spend a top pick on a position McDermott can coach up. S - Good. But maybe get a late round guy who can play nickel CB/OLB on running downs. K - Good P - FA Overall FA: cap space generated by restructure of Dawkins/White and Diggs/Morse extensions. Cut of Feliciano/Williams depending on if FAs willing to sign here. Beasley trade or paycut. Wagner Gronk Donte Jackson to add speed, a veteran presence, and another former Panther Draft: 1: traded for DK 2: RB Walker/Hall or G/T Darian Kinnard 3: CB Alonte Taylor or LB Darian Beavers 4: RB/WR Tyler Badie (unless RB was 2nd round pick) 5: DT OTITO OGBONNIA 6: CB Taylor-Stuart 6: TE Kolar 7: G Chris Paul 7: DT Noah Ellis Edited March 9, 2022 by Rock-A-Bye Beasley Quote
