Dopey
That Georgia defensive line was just incredible. To think, Jermaine Johnson had to transfer to get playing time. And even he could go top 10-15.
wppete
I’d be happy with him at #25

The big problem with Davis is that he plays very tall.........so he doesn't play with leverage.......skinny track legs on a huge upper body. Agree, I don’t see the next Ted Washington when I look at him. Huge and pretty incredible athlete for that size. Not much of a pass rusher, but at 6’6” maybe could disrupt pass lanes. I don’t think he would be the best choice at 25
PetermansRedemption
Davis’ combine performance is not too bad. Either some team drafts him ahead of us and we don’t spend a first round pick on a DT or we spend a first round pick on a DT but at least it’s at 25. I am pretty indifferent.

I don’t think he would be the best choice at 25 Yeah Ted Washington was a different body type........his thighs were like tree trunks and he had 35" long arms and 11" hands so he could get very low and get under the pads of OL and man handle them despite being a relatively tall 6'4". I actually think Jordan Davis could turn into a really good pass rusher..........but will always struggle to anchor and dominate against the run if he can't find it in him to get low and play with leverage. In the other Davis thread I posted a link to Jordan Phillips highlights from college..........the two players tape looks remarkably similar...........in college Phillips could play tall and dominate just like Davis did...........and Phillips was characterized as a late first round 3-4 NT prospect..........but in the NFL he has really just developed into an oversized gap shooting 3 tech because he can't get low. When the Bills tried to use him at 1 tech guards would get into his chest and drive him out of the play.
Mr. WEO
He would be an actual 1st round beast D pick for the Bills. I'm for it.
thenorthremembers
Problem is 341 is light for him. Probably the best shape of his entire life. Good player but worry about him having Dareus Syndrome weight wise.

Of the two, Wyatt is more of a Bills type DTackle. That said, I think a lot of people are going to regret not taking Davis. I don’t think the Bills will take him if he is there. Not sure the Bills take Wyatt either, for some reason Beane doesn’t like SEC players high in the draft. White was picked before his tenure. Logic
Now that he has had the combine performance he has, I don’t think we need to bother discussing taking him at 25. He’ll be off the board by then.
Allen2D̶i̶g̶g̶s̶TBD
He is 340 pounds and finished only .05 seconds behind Anquan Boldin who was 215 pounds. Jordan Davis' RAS score will likely set a record.

YattaOkasan
Heard he has had trouble with his weight and that he has a sweet tooth. Doesn’t sound very disciplined. Along with his near atrocious pass rushing he is a pass at 25 for me. 1
Flipnmi
Before today I was not that high on him and really afraid he would eat himself out of the league. However, since he's gotten down to 330 and ran like he did today, I'm more open to the idea of him at 25. He's obviously an increible athlete and what he did at Georgia at 360 lbs may not be indicitive of what he can do in the NFL at 325-330. I think it will come down to the interviews and whether the Bills thinks they can keep his weight under control and keep him motivated, so he doesn't turn into another Marcell Dareus. If he makes it to 25, I'll trust Beane to make the right decision, but I'm still leaning towards a CB.
BuffaloRebound
Seems like a Raider. Doubt he makes it past them.

Maybe he goes home to binge eat when he gets back from the combine. No way he will get to 325 and sustain it.
Southern_Bills
I could be completely wrong of course, but this guy just seems to scream bust. Like I said, I don't have pages of hypothesis and data to explain why, it's just how I feel.
