When they were bad this year, we were bad. Hopefully they can at least be average. Should be good enough as long as Beane does a good job this offseason. Quote

But what they did at the end of the season required rushing Josh Allen about 10x per game, that is not sustainable. I see this as the off-season where philosophical differences are going to come to the surface at OBD. Beane's admitted they need better protection and weapons for Josh. My concern is that McD will continue pushing for a balance between offense and defense because that's the style of play he prefers. Going with a dominant offense, even one that wins more games at the cost of stocking McD's defense is a bridge too far for me. He's not that dynamic of a HC to understand that it's time to put your defense into a secondary position. It's as if his pride does not allow him to adjust how he coaches football. 1 Quote
billsfan89 Posted March 4, 2022 Posted March 4, 2022 It’s hard to consistently win shoot outs in the NFL however I would argue that if the Bills can bring back Phillips, Hughes and Levi and add some depth in the 2nd/3rd/4th round the defense should still be at worst decent. 1 Quote
Hebert19 Posted March 5, 2022 Author Posted March 5, 2022 Feels like the way we are rumored to be looking at Barkley and gronk we may just do this. If we went that route I'd be in for kirk rather than drafting WR early. Quote
Sammy Watkins' Rib Posted March 6, 2022 Posted March 6, 2022 They scored 6 against the Jaguars. Quote
Hebert19 Posted March 16, 2022 Author Posted March 16, 2022 Now that it looks like Jones and Miller aren't coming here...can we go back to this plan. 1 Quote
wjag Posted March 16, 2022 Posted March 16, 2022 The weather in Orchard Park prevents this. Looking at the schedule of away games, they get fair weather in LA, MIA and DET. BAL typically has mild weather, but you never know. Games in CIN, CHI, NE, NY, and KC could all be foul weather games. And then the competition level is substantially better this year with LA CIN BAL KC GB TEN CLE (Watson and Copper?) 50 is a fan's pipe dream. 25-30 point average should be the goal Quote

Our D is solid. Let's go all in and just score more points then everyone. Seems Miller and Jones are out. Wr deep draft. Let's go. Quote
BuffaloBillsGospel Posted March 16, 2022 Posted March 16, 2022 Don't worry, my source tells me QB Josh Allen will also be our edge rusher this season, we're good to go! Quote
