Pete
I posted the story once before. Anyways short version me and buddy fishing, killing fish, got reservations for cinco de mayo 45 minutes away, we pull in rods and fish, speed back, boat splits in half, spend 3 hours in 46 degree water, fog rolls in, coast guard rescues us, puts us in hypotherimia suits, tv crews, refused hospital service, etc.....we never would of headed back into port- we were killing the fish and usually would of fished til 3 am or so....not to mention we usually drink like fish when we fish..drinking lowers body temperture..46 degree water, 3 hours with a buzz=hypothermia.....I love cinco de mayo! Salud!

Must've run into something? Or was the hull already compromised? What size/type of boat was it?
