BillsFanNC Posted February 16, 2023 Author Posted February 16, 2023 See we used guys that we paid to not observe and report on illegal activities, but to actually plan and carry out an "insurrection". But the jury can't hear any of that. No sir.   2
BillsFanNC Posted February 17, 2023 Author Posted February 17, 2023 @redtail hawk won't read this since he/she/they has me on ignore. But I wonder if his/her/their desire to cite and read court documents so as to not rely on biased opinions of others extends to the countless times Julie Kelly has done so?  Chances? 0.0   1
BillsFanNC Posted February 17, 2023 Author Posted February 17, 2023 Speedy public trial without delay? Not so much.  Right to an impartial jury?    What 6th ammendment?    1
BillsFanNC Posted February 17, 2023 Author Posted February 17, 2023 Once while on jury duty, one person who was being interviewed stated openly that he didn't like black people. It turned out that the defendant was indeed a black man. Guess what? The guy who admitted he was racist was immediately dismissed. Â Apparently open bias against a group isn't grounds for dismissal from DC juries. Â Who is shocked? Â Â Â Â 1

B-Man Posted February 21, 2023 Posted February 21, 2023   Schiff Panics Over Release of Jan. 6 Footage, Goes Into Conspiracy Overdrive by Nick Arama  Last month, I wrote about how House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) announced he was open to releasing all the security footage from the Jan. 6 Capitol riot, all 14,000 hours of it, which Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) never wanted to release in the presentation of their political narrative during their witch hunt Jan. 6 Committee proceedings. Now, the reports are that he’s made good on that and released 14,000 hours to Tucker Carlson and his crew, that they’re reviewing it, and that there may be even more footage. Carlson said there was never any valid reason to withhold this footage and that it would begin airing in the coming weeks.  https://redstate.com/nick-arama/2023/02/20/schiff-panics-over-release-of-jan-6-footage-goes-into-conspiracy-overdrive-n706275 1 1

B-Man Posted February 21, 2023 Posted February 21, 2023   RELEASING THE J6 FOOTAGE  Yesterday Axios broke the story that House Speaker Kevin McCarthy has given Tucker Carlson’s Fox News producers access to the 41,000 hours of Capitol surveillance video from the riot and preceding days. In Axios’s story Mike Allen stated that “[t]he archive was previously reported to be 14,000 hours. I’m told it’s now much more.” Tucker Carlson himself announced that his producers were reviewing the video on his show last night and used the larger number, if I’m not mistaken.  Why wasn’t the footage made available earlier? I think that former Speaker Pelosi and her Democratic colleagues wanted to keep tight control of the “insurrection” narrative. Now Axios is referring to the Jan. 6 episode as “the riot.” What happened?  Nerves must be fraying on the Democratic side. Today Axios quotes former senior staff member and Jan. 6 Committee spokesman Tim Mulvey: “When the January 6th Select Committee obtained access to U.S. Capitol Police video footage, it was treated with great sensitivity given concerns about the security of lawmakers, staff, and the Capitol complex. Access was limited to members and a small handful of investigators and senior staff, and the public use of any footage was coordinated in advance with Capitol Police. It’s hard to overstate the potential security risks if this material were used irresponsibly.”  A McCarthy spokesman replied: “Unlike the previous Democrat majority, the House Republicans will treat the issue of the security of the Capitol separate from partisan political interests.” Advantage: McCarthy.  https://www.powerlineblog.com/archives/2023/02/releasing-the-j6-footage.php 1
