I like the ESPN College Gameday group and Herbstreit calling games. I hope that doesn't get broken up and that he gets to do this as a side gig if taken.

Does anyone actually watch the game because of the announcers? I turn on any Bills game and any game that is interesting to me. If the announcers are good, great. if not I just mute them continue watching the game

He and Fowler have done nfl games before and it’s hard to get used to his voice outside of CFB. Fowler too to some degree but he does a lot of tennis too. Herbie is really good at what he does and has been doing college for so long, I can see him looking for some growth into other areas and this makes sense. Some people don’t like herbie but he’s very knowledgeable.

Herbie is OK.  Even if he was a Buckeye.  But Mr College Football is Gus Johnson!!  And before him it had to be Brent Musberger.  And here is one from the past who was excellent.  The original Saturday nite voice of College Football on ESPN.  Ron Franklin!!
