Awesome videos and good memories! That first win set the tone for the season. But neither shows the best part: the fans tearing down the goal posts after. Grrrrr! 😃

those early season warm weather home games are great.

I remember a Cheatriots game, at Shaefer stadium....they tore the goal posts down, and as they were carrying one, it touched an electric wire.  Good times!

There must be something magical about years ending in "0".  My three favorite Buffalo Bills seasons are 1980, 1990 and 2020.  There will almost be some extra juice in my memories of that 1980 season, probably a great deal to do with where I was at in my life at that time.  Thanks for great reminder of great memories!

 

Oh yeah... Love to see the pattern change and have something special in 2022 to break this "0" year pattern!  Go Bills!

I think someone with a bottomless, ancient Bills game tape collection should put one of these up every Sunday.   Very entertaining (esp one that has all the commercials recorded as well (hilarious).   Would make the offseason more tolerable.   Just any game, garden variety.   Would be fun.

I was at that 1980 game, will never forget it...still have the ticket stub..$9.50...but some of my recollection is poor as I did not realize how shaky Fergy was, and now I see how the team really wasted Jerry Butler’s talent.

The older I get, I like the warm weather games too, but I was at this one, and it wasn't warm, it was scorching hot!

This game was very difficult to find for many years. I tried many sources and collectors over the years and finally here it is. I hope the NFL continues to allow these old games to be available on YouTube.
