The Knox conversations are weird. Athletically and blocking he's borderline a top tenish te. He was excellent vs KC and his blocking is awesome.

Kincaid is just a special receiving te so Knox in a traditional te role gets underrated. He would start for half the nfl. I don't care about his numbers. He's a good player and great depth if Kincaid gets banged up

Knox looks like the Hallmark character whose mom owns a cookie store in the rural mountains and lost her husband to a coal mining accident and now she is without insurance going through cancer as he left college early to help her make $20k a year in cookies that meets the six figure plus bonus c-suite exec woman who is high strung and visiting with her fiance to unwind only to meet him and leave it all behind.

Ya need to throw a Christmas miracle theme on this and its a go!

Let me start off by saying Knox is a weapon and if used right can produce and help this team win ! With that said up until this last game it's almost like Brady forgot about him with in the scheme even when Kincaid was in the game and had him covered they still didn't go to Knox .

But this last game they had to and he showed them his value to this offense & Josh . I along with others have been reminded how he had a 9 TD season not to long ago & how he was on angry runs the guy is a Bills type player all day ..

I hope there is a way they can come up with to keep him here, because if they don't i feel he will come back here to Nashville to play for the Titans which for him would be a good deal seeing as his family is here but not so good for the Bills .

If Brady would just use the 2 TE alignment more and have Knox be more a part of it they could benefit from both Knox & Kincaid and play to each of their  strengths in the scheme .

Great breakdown, the point you make about an effort to establish the run with Cook and bubble screens with Shakir and Samuel are giving the offense some juice. The targets are condensed because Josh is throwing less downfield. I’m so impressed with what Hollins has done with a few receptions each game. Shakir is the best slot receiver in football( certainly the clutchest)and Cooper looks like he will command double coverage.. It should be interesting to see how they deploy Kincaid and Coleman. They both could be good red zone options. I’m afraid as long as Kincaid’s

active Knox is the odd man out.

Kincaid in the red zone, he’s not a rebounder.

His TDs have been on the run, Allen generally finding him.

I think we’ve seen that the Bills run a slow paced game, routinely taking the play clock to 0 before snapping. Almost every snap you’re clapping at your TV saying hurry up, against the Chiefs they eventually did get a Delay of Game.

On occasion they will run a spurt of no huddle, but for the most part most games are 53-65 plays on offense. 45% run / 55% pass split, 30 runs, 35 passes.

65% completion percentage is 22 completed passes in the game.

5-6 to Shakir. That leaves 16.

4-5 to Kincaid. That leaves 11.

3 to Coleman. That leaves 8.

3 to Cooper. That leaves 5.

4 to running backs. That leaves 1.

So the last 2-5 catches split between Samuel, Hollins, Knox.

We’ve seen the big 4 for 1.5 games - Titans and Seattle, but I think that’s what they’d like to be ideally.

Samuel is maybe the Wildcard, can he steal snaps from Coleman? Possible, but I think when Coleman is healthy, the Bills will put him right back in as the starter.

I'd like to hang onto him if possible.

Everyone already talks about Kincaid like he's an elite star in the league, but a lot of that still feels like projection & what we HOPE will be true one day.

We know Knox isn't elite, but he's good in a lot of situations, allows for more flexibility with multiple TE packages, and has come up big in quite a few games. And not having Kincaid last week didn't feel so bad knowing Knox was there.

In the playoffs I think Kincaid will prove he's special.

I’m not advocating for Knox salary as I think they move on from him in 2026 but the reason why TEs get paid so much now is because there are not very man really good ones in the league. It’s much why you see Guard salaries skyrocketing in the NFL. Supply and Demand

His release prior to2027would be significant, and you saw how Kinkaid was just out.  I’m in the amp. To keep him through 2026, and maybe Beane can get him to renominate like he did with Von.  It’s worth trying.

Well have cheap talent as I mentioned in another thread of5 picks in the top 4 rounds, and 10 overall.  In the later rounds I can see a kicker and backup QB for development.  That still leaves8 solid picks.

I kind of don’t know why people always want purge talent when so much if the investment is already sunk.  An easy question is do you trust Morris or Knox More as it’s not you’re $.

Knox should remain with Morris and of course Kincaid. Can always push Morris with  a rookie.

Dawson money I dont see becoming too much for Bills Finance. Might even become advantageous to keep as long as he keeps doing what he is doing.

Love to see Brady find an opposing team we could line up  Two TEs and use in the pass game. Even 3 perhaps , and bunch them  LOL

Well thats a heck of a breakdown ! Thanks S H

I never really visualized it till now.

 Everyone eats... at some point.

Imagine if the completion percentage was around 90% though  :)

Unless some other team is gonna pay Knox a bag, he may take a pay cut and stick around for a couple more years, weirder sh-t has happened on this planet,
