The place is a resort and it's very nice. I remember when Anaheim looked slummy outside Disneyland, it isn't that way anymore.

teef
it's not a great story, but unfortunately it happened. my parents were in florida, and my brother and i decided to go down an visit them. for fun we decided to meet at disney world for a few days. i can't remember exactly where we stayed, but it was on disney property. i was probably 22/23 at the time and my brother was 25/26. we all went out to dinner one night on the board walk. my parents decided to call it a night, so my brother and i went to a piano bar and have a few drinks. at the bar we met a bunch of people, starting partying, and things got festive. when it was time to leave, we paid our tab, and went outside to talk to some people. after hanging right in front of the bar for a few minutes, a bar tender came runnning out at us screaming, letting everyone in earshot know we were trying to run out on a tab. what had happened was that since we had far too much to drink, my brother signed the tab, but instead of taking the credit card, accidentally left with the tab and left his card. the bartender decided to call this a theft instead of a mistake. no my brother and i are many things, but thieves we are not. we tried to explain to him what had happened, but he just kept calling us liars. that's when the insults started. we grew up in a hardcore ball busting family, so this guy was ready to cry. he then called security, and about 6 giant men showed up getting in our faces. to give you perspective, i'm 5'9", 170 lbs...i'm not an imposing person by any means, and my brother is a bit bigger. these guys could have started a gang. well, one guy grabbed me, my brother didn't like it, he pushed him...my brother got knocked onto the ground, so i pushed that guy, etc. looking back, these guy as wrong as they were, did show restraint. they could have destroyed us. now the cops got involved. not 2 or 3, but easily 8-10. at this point my brother was landing every insult possible, so we were quickly cuffed and were told we were no longer allowed to be on disney properties. we were each taken in a separate squad car back to our hotel, and they wanted us to tell our parents what happened. when they knocked on the door to my parents room, my mom broke down in tears. as my dad remembers, he thought we had murdered someone due to all the police presence. we grabbed our stuff, and went to another hotel off campus. i wrote this as fast as possible, so sorry for the mistakes, but that's one way to get a police escort off disney properties. Well, sounds it's possible you could have taken legal action and got something from it. Although being drunk would have made it little more difficult. But if not drunk you likely would have had a pretty decent case.

We always stay at the swan / dolphin so very familiar with that area. Even though we’re there spending thousands, I could never get past the $20 cover (or close to that). I just refuse to pay it. Before we had our son, had a good run of ending up late night at the Atlantic dance hall around the corner. Not going to lie, we had some entertaining drunk experiences there
