Ross Murdock Posted February 14, 2022 Posted February 14, 2022 Not without signing Phillips (Or signing an equivalent), And Basham - Rousseau - Espenesa stepping up. Without Hughes - Addison - Butler, no way the Bills get to the big games without the young D-line players getting to the next level. Bills won't even win the East if not.. Sorry. Quote

Remember the lost to the abysmal Jacksonville Jaguars? Also, the Kansas City Chiefs fan base thought they were going to dominate the Cincinnati Bengals in the AFC title game. LOL. Actually, there's really no need for any Bills fan to "stay humble." We can write anything we want here and it has zero impact on anything next season. Quote

How can you possibly say that? We should have been in the AFC championship game this year but for a coaching F-up...not a D line F-up. We were one QB sneak (Josh in Nashville) from being the NO. 1 seed in the AFC! We were one win at home against the Bengals from the SB....with exactly what we had THIS YEAR. People talking about a big need for large changes (with some bizarre infatuation with defense) are out of their minds.... 1 Quote

We just witnessed Stafford and Burrow nearly knocked out of the Super Bowl. Odell Beckham Jr. was knocked out of the game. Nothing is a sure thing. We cannot predict the future. This is what you come up with ?? You know where to go right ? Quote

"Dominate" sounds like Dom-In-Nate and makes no sense in the context you used it. Thank you! I’m guessing that you’re kidding about a coaching seminar. But I think the Bills need to do more work on situational football. it seemed to me that in the last 13 sec Bills D was playing the wrong situation. They were playing “protect the lead when a team has 2 plays to gain 45 yds and kick a fg with no time outs”. They were playing outside leverage and funneling everything to the middle and protecting the sidelines. Which is what they were coached to do and is the correct plan for this situation. Problem was that chiefs had 3 timeouts. I’m guessing that the Bills had never practiced that particular scenario. They just have to practice as many end of game scenarios as they have time for. So these become second nature for players and coaches. Quote

Buffalo03 Posted February 14, 2022 Posted February 14, 2022 (edited) We're not even going to it man. I hate to break it to you. Allen is gonna be Marino to no fault of his own. He'll be one of the all time greats and have a ton of records when he hangs it up but his career will be the same unless he goes elsewhere. I hate to say it. But I almost feel like I've gotten to know the Bills better than they know themselves over the years Edited February 14, 2022 by Buffalo03 Quote
