Thanks Hap, great story. There's a ton of good players out there. Unfortunately it's the negative sensationalism of the media that insists on the constant bad stories to get eyeballs & advertising revenue.

There are fans who only look for the worst and seek out that type of stories.  Even for teams who are doing well we have fans arming themselves with pitchforks and torches anytime a team does not select a player they feel would do better, replace a coach they dislike, etc. They are not happy unless they are wallowing in misery and want others to join them in the mud and dung heap hole.

I think there are probably more good guys in the NFL than bad apples.  The bad apples, however, always seem to have a way of grabbing our attention.
