In fact, a new OL Coach was already hired several days ago, Coach Wilford from Kentucky (unknown if related to Will). Marrone was already out before the new hire and word is in Alabama circles that Saban got rid of him. Btw, the 2021 Marrone coached Alabama OL was the worst I have seen in 10 or so years. Was it Marrone's fault? Not entirely. They lost Alex Leatherwood (1st round), Landon Dickerson (2nd round), and Deonta Brown (6th round). The thing is, he couldn't decide on center until he put in a sophmore after 9 or 10 games and the kid looked great. People wanted to know what took so long. Again, people claiming to have inside info say that Saban ousted Marrone. Now, do I know 100% for sure that Saban fired him? Obviously not lol.
