Coach Tuesday Posted February 7, 2022 Posted February 7, 2022 Makes perfect sense. For fringe roster QBs (and other positions as well), best way to get an advantage in training camp/preseason is to already know the system. 2 Quote
ColoradoBills Posted February 7, 2022 Posted February 7, 2022 Smart move by Daboll. Davis would make more on their roster holding a clipboard than on the Bills PS. Webb helping Daniel Jones with Daboll's playbook would be worth the spot. 2 Quote
Cheektowaga Chad Posted February 7, 2022 Posted February 7, 2022 I imagine he ends up back with the Giants On record with wanting to coach post career, he should/will follow the guy that he feels more comfortable with coaching wise 2 Quote
Ridgewaycynic2013 Posted February 7, 2022 Posted February 7, 2022 Besides coaching, there's always broadcasting. 🤔 Quote
Bills92 Posted February 7, 2022 Posted February 7, 2022 I think somebody already mentioned it.. but I feel like Darnold is destined to be a Bill in 2022. 3 2 2 Quote
out Posted February 7, 2022 Posted February 7, 2022 Splashy move. Sign the guy you drafted 3rd round in 2017 3 Quote

Similar to Barkley and Allen, Webb (who I think wants to coach) and Jones 1 Quote

So, there is no cap savings to cutting him and I doubt the Bills have any interest in an $18M cap hit for a back up QB. Edited February 7, 2022 by Jim Bob 2 Quote

Bills aren't trading for a backup QB with an $18.9 M salary. 2 1 Quote
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted February 7, 2022 Posted February 7, 2022 Webb better be getting some guaranteed money— otherwise this deal Doesn’t make a lot of sense. He has a great thing going now. Quote
out Posted February 7, 2022 Posted February 7, 2022 Acording to Webb he signed with the Giants because there is a better opportunity he will play Quote

First was giving up too much compensation to get him. Then picking up his guaranteed fifth year before ever even seeing him in practice. Quote

MAJBobby Posted February 7, 2022 Posted February 7, 2022 (edited) Draft another mid to late round QB and there is your QB2. That you can then flip in 3 years for assets. time to get in the QB flipping business. Allen is the “Vet” QB on this roster. Nothing more than Rollie Contracts for that BU. Doc Posted February 7, 2022 Posted February 7, 2022 Rodgers to the Titans is not happening unless someone is willing to trade for Tannehill. IOW, Rodgers to the Titans is not happening. Quote
