Who proceeded to fall apart at the most important in the worst possible way 3 consecutive times. Their stats were boosted from weak opponents not overall defensive strength. They are a good D but the failing in KC at least has me open to a new vision to help improve things. Quote
Buffalo Barbarian Posted February 7, 2022 Posted February 7, 2022 Would love this but doubt it, would also like that pick for losing Frazier. Quote
Nihilarian Posted February 7, 2022 Posted February 7, 2022 No way this team does anything with Leslie Frazier this offseason considering the political climate of today. Besides, the Buffalo Bills don't have the horses to run that wide 9 scheme atm. JMO Change is due though at some point as far too many screw ups this season with that supposed #1 defense... that gave up 41 points to a run first team with a scrub QB. 32 rushes for 185 yards, 4 TDs for RB Taylor. A team that the crappy 3-14 Jacksonville Jaguars kept from making the playoffs in week 18, and beat them 11-26. The Bills DC on stopping the run while still playing a nickle scheme...If we stack the box that should be enough. It clearly wasn't! And yeah! 552 yards of offense given up to the Chiefs. Quote

They scored at will when it mattered. Frazier has outlived his usefulness. #1 defense gave up 30+ to all the good offenses we faced.(Indy,KC, Tampa, Tenn) Stats can be misleading. 1 Quote
Alphadawg7 Posted February 8, 2022 Posted February 8, 2022 I would like to see us make a change at DC, but at this point I think there is no chance at this point. Quote

Do you need to ask the question? All of those who wanting Coach McD to send him to the gallows worship Debbie Downer and do not believe the Bills front office / head coach should review what happened and make a rational decision but just go with mob (if you can call it that) mentality. 1 Quote

Bad Things Posted February 9, 2022 Posted February 9, 2022 Doesn't the fact that "the Schwartz" is "out there looking for a DC job" kinda tell you something? Quote

Nitro Posted February 9, 2022 Posted February 9, 2022 There has to be a reason why he is not employed by any team. Too strong of a personality or he wants to be a HC? Quote

If they beat the Jags or the Titans we could have been the 1 seed. Allen was terrible against the Jags and slipped on 4th down against the Titans. All we needed was 1 yard. Let’s get rid of him too. s@@t happens. A lot more good than bad with defense over the past few years. Frazier isn’t going anywhere, so you want to hop off the train? Quote
BADOLBILZ Posted February 9, 2022 Posted February 9, 2022 Schwartz is even more of a 1 trick pony scheme-wise than McD and Frazier............and that has been the Bills issue in the playoffs the past 3 seasons.........despite a TON of experience playing together they aren't a defense that can make broad changes to specifically address the better opposing offenses they face. 1 Quote

LF has even stated that he doesn’t want to make in game changes to scheme, even when he is getting his backside handed to him, SM appears to have a similar issue. Now with that said, this team is light years a head of where they were for the better part of two decades, so I’m happy as hell with that, who isn’t?, but I am frustrated with what is so obviously the teams biggest need, it is in game coaching decision making more so than it is personnel, jmo. Go Bills!!! Quote

Just because I pointed out a critical flaw that lost us the game, you automatically think I want to get rid of Frazier. He is a damn good coach. But because you are all knowing, all seeing, can I have your lottery numbers for tonight's Powerball? Quote
