I mean, the players can sure pay for their own trips to Hawaii now ha ha. In the old days while they could it was quite the perk compared to the tiny bonus it is now. And somehow, we felt taken along for the ride just a bit. Quote

RalphWilson'sNewWar Posted February 6, 2022 Posted February 6, 2022 When the game was on the line and they needed THE PLAY to secure it…the AFC turned to Mac Jones to deliver the biggest moment. 😂 1 Quote
ColoradoBills Posted February 6, 2022 Posted February 6, 2022 Stepfon and Dion get 160 purple chips to mess around with in Vegas. Not a bad payday if you can get the work. 1 Quote
BillMafia716ix Posted February 6, 2022 Posted February 6, 2022 They should Just make it a 7 man flag game. No need for lineman. That would be more entertaining 4 Quote

Bad Things Posted February 6, 2022 Posted February 6, 2022 I don't think I've watched the Pro Bowl since the early 90's. Why bother? 1 1 Quote

Listen, if the pro bowl is going to snub a qb like Josh yet invite a mediocre player like Edmunds, I'm out. It's basically pointless anyway with the added 17th game. Quote
Warcodered Posted February 6, 2022 Posted February 6, 2022 I guess this is like an anti-reason. 1 2 Quote

That would be more entertaining I say give the linemen a chance to play. Give them a few drives to play the skill positions in a 7 on 7 game. That would be fun to watch, and adds a unique touch the game desperately needs. 1 Quote
NoHuddleKelly12 Posted February 7, 2022 Posted February 7, 2022 Changing the game to before the SB instead of keeping it the week after, ensures the double whammy of both less viewership as football season still not over, as well as players from top 2 teams will never play…what’s not to love? 🤔 1 Quote

Several interceptions where the offensive players didn’t even try to stop the interceptors. I fast forwarded to the 4th to see if, like the NBA All-Star game, they played harder in the 4th, but they didn’t. That ‘spot and choose’ concept was both dumb and confusing. They also gave teams the option after scoring to try and get a 4th and 15 conversion, for which the teams were like 1 out of 10. I hope they don’t adopt these rules for the regular season, but they have been discussed and, quite frankly, it wouldn’t surprise me if they were added. Quote
Brianmoorman4jesus Posted February 7, 2022 Posted February 7, 2022 They should just wear the pads and everything but just play a full contact game with flags. I bet they’d go full bore if there was no tackling. It becomes impossible to even understand when they are blowing plays dead as guys are getting touched. Put flags on them and play a real game. 1 Quote
JMF2006 Posted February 7, 2022 Posted February 7, 2022 They should have a mini tourney like the NHL...7 on 7 flag football 2 x5 minute halves in preliminary games 2 x10 minute final NFC 4 teams/AFC 4Teams and the winning division gets to host the Super Bowl which will be drawn from the winning divisions 4 teams. To the NFL......... please send my check for this idea to PO Box Station "A" Toronto On Ca 13 hours ago, BillMafia716ix said: They should Just make it a 7 man flag game. No need for lineman. PromoTheRobot Posted February 7, 2022 Posted February 7, 2022 A much better idea. Though it could bring it's own set of problems. Quote
Dan Darragh Posted February 7, 2022 Posted February 7, 2022 Anyone remember the game they used to have every summer when the NFL champs would play against a college all-star team? Every year I'd get sucked in because it was the first football on TV in months, and in the pre-game they'd say "the college all-stars are going to find out if this NFL team can handle the WISHBONE" and then the game would start and I'd get bored before the first punt. 1 Quote
PromoTheRobot Posted February 7, 2022 Posted February 7, 2022 The Pro Bowl should just go away. Football is a sport where you risk your body. Even a preseason game has justification; players trying to make a team. 2 Quote
