I know he doesn't call the plays under Reid but he has been instrumental in their offense over the years and that would definitely hurt them so I hope he gets it...

He has had a dozen interviews over the years and never received an offer...I know they talk about racism and this that and the other, but when do we just say that maybe he is a terrible interview?

He is not getting job offer most likely due to his past. Other coaching canidates dont come with the baggage.

And i feel that Saints just might hire him with the NFL fears of this lawsuit.

More bad news,  they already got picks for Bears hiring and if this happens would get more picks.  Maybe Saints would consider Frazier

I mean that part would suck...2 extra 3rd round picks the next two years...

Agreed. This guy has a fairly long rap sheet. While these crimes were committed a fairly long time ago, some owners just won’t feel comfortable with him leading their team. The Chiefs have demonstrated over and over again that they don’t mind. So maybe he’s best off as a Chief.

Do we really know this? Andy Reid calls the plays. It is his offense. I think that is what is hurting Bienemy's chances at a head coaching position. Nobody knows if he will be good outside of Reid's offense.

As much as many of us would wish all of this to be that simple, it really isn't.  There are several good candidates for all of these jobs.  I have been partial to Bowles, Flores, and Morris.  If this ends up in litigation, the process will be under as much scrutiny as the result.  It is important to have a very structured and uniform interview and selection process.  The selection criteria must be clear and as measurable as possible.  Some teams are probably very good at this and some are probably very bad.  The bad ones are probably a direct reflection of the owner.

As others have pointed out, Bienemy may just not interview well or maybe he just doesn't have the attributes to be a head coach and lead an organization.  We have no way of knowing but when so many different teams interview the guy and pass, there is something amiss.

EB will be a terrible hire.  Not sure how you can interview EB and Flores and end up thinking EB is the better choice

The NFL needs to make the Saints the poster child for how serious about equality the league is. (sic)

The Saints should hire Flores as HC and be granted by the league Eric Bieniemy OC and Leslie Fraser DC. (too obvious ?) and orchestrate a trade between the Saints and Texans for a cleared Deshaun Watson, then they can stick their heads back in the sand until the next lawsuit.

Better to hire a "bad interviewer," over a "good interviewer BS'er who is all talk and no walk,  Greggggg comes to mind!

Flores, right or wrong, has maybe cooked his own goose?

I miss Flores in the division already. The Fins were basically the Washington Generals to our Harlem Globetrotters under him against the Bills.

Why would the Saints go for that? They don't need to make up for other teams screw ups.

They should hire the best person they can for the job based on abilities.

Or whoever they can...I mean they might be limited as to who is going to take a job where there is no QB and they are 71 million over the cap. It was so bad it made their super bowl winning coach retire.

Honestly though...I do wonder if they hire him if the NFL takes that into consideration when it comes time to award Super Bowls, NFL Draft locations and things of that nature.

I agree.

I mentioned earlier that I thought Daboll would make sense in NO with the Peyton retirement. I don’t think Winston is total trash like some. Replicating JA17’s environment would be good for him. Also a stable organization.

But everybody screamed Dennis Allen…until the Flores law suit…

Owners should hire whoever they want without any pressure.

Wouldn’t that be terrific. Especially since they’re laying these coaches millions of dollars.

I know it sounds far-fetched, but the Bills should consider hiring Flores as Defensive Coordinator and move Frazier to asst. head coach.

4 reasons why

1. He knows the Patriots and Miami as well as anyone. Have to win the division first.

2. Maybe under McDermott's scheme he can add a little more to the aggressiveness of the defense. Even though he was not the architect, he has coached players in multiple Super Bowls and Conference championships

3. He does have a lot of experience, and I was surprised he was not kept by Miami. Make it a one year deal with an agreed option that he will be looking at HC gigs the following year.

4. He would be goung to a winning organization and stick it back to Miami. Frazier probably won't coach much longer, but the Bills can make him an asst. head coach for two years and then Frazier will either probably retire or maybe look at another opportunity after we win the Super Bowl when his stock is no longer in the toilet.

The bonus of course is this will look really good for the league.

Frazier is already the assistant HC. And Frazier shouldn’t really go anywhere. The guy maintained a top defense after Tre went down with no pass rush and mediocre corners. He’s a really good coach who McD trusts.

1. McD and Frazier have been here for several years. They know those teams too and they also know how to win the division. Flores doesn’t.

2. McD was an aggressive DC in Carolina. We don’t need Flores for that

3. Pointless

4. I don’t care about Flores getting revenge on Miami. We don’t need him to beat the piss out of the Dolphins either.
