Not sure I envisioned Dorsey getting a HC position after one year as OC, but I guess if we blow the doors off of everyone anything is possible. Zac Taylor was the Rams QB coach was hired as Bengals HC. He was never a coordinator at any level. 2 Quote

NewEra Posted February 2, 2022 Posted February 2, 2022 I would love this move. To the OP, Brady helped groom Burrow into what he is today. He was the OC for the best college football offense I can remember. Brady helped me win a small boatload of cash that I’ve been losing in the book since. he might not be a good OC atm, but he’s only 32 and might just need the right mentoring and more experience to get things right. 3 Quote

Buffalo_Stampede Posted February 2, 2022 Posted February 2, 2022 I also see Mike Shula joining the offensive staff in some capacity. Quote
Southern_Bills Posted February 2, 2022 Posted February 2, 2022 Would be a huge hire, of course who knows what's true. Does feel nice to know the Bills have players coaches "want" to coach. Not just I guess I'll take the job, no one else called, like it used to be. 2 Quote

harryS Posted February 2, 2022 Posted February 2, 2022 It'd be a great get. Heck, I would've given him OC over Dorsey, that's how good this hire would be. 1 Quote

JimBob2232 Posted February 2, 2022 Posted February 2, 2022 I love this - but I’m so confused. Brady is on a trajectory to be HC somewhere. Not sure what happened in Carolina - but I feel like a QB coach is a huge step down for him. I would have expected him to take an OC at someplace like Michigan or something (if there is a coaching change) - not a QB coach job here. This is probably a one year thing…but glad to have him. Love this move. And it's a good move for him. Young coach with OC experience working with one of the best offenses in the NFL. He's probably an OC again as soon as next season. Quote
CapeBreton Posted February 2, 2022 Posted February 2, 2022 I don’t know much about this guy except he was with Joe Burrow at LSU in 2019 so that’s a good sign. He also managed to make Sam Darnold look like a competent QB early in 2021 but then it all fell apart. 1 Quote
eball Posted February 2, 2022 Posted February 2, 2022 This is a really good get for the Bills. Like, stunningly good. Another experienced guy for Dorsey and Allen to bounce ideas off. 3 1 Quote
