Billsfan1972 Posted February 1, 2022 Posted February 1, 2022 (edited) Really was no need for it as there was plenty of time and every other kick Cincy made was through the endzone. Know this was brought up on Sunday (and then merged with other gameday topics), but just was listening to the Bill Simmons podcast and that is how he referred to the squib kick as..... A FU to Buffalo. BTW it took up 5 seconds and returned to the 19 yards line. Yep not over it......😜 Edited February 1, 2022 by Billsfan1972 5 5 1 1 Quote
CaptnCoke11 Posted February 1, 2022 Posted February 1, 2022 Yeah I’m sure that’s why they did it 3 13 2 Quote
Einstein Posted February 1, 2022 Posted February 1, 2022 I’m over the kickoff. Im more upset about the defense. Cincinatti did for 2.5 quarters, what we couldn’t do for 13 seconds. 15 8 1 5 1 Quote
BuffaloBillyG Posted February 1, 2022 Posted February 1, 2022 Yes. Biggest game of their life and they are all...ya know what? Let's get a dig on Buffalo, a team we don't even play often. I'm sure of it. 2 1 7 1 Quote

Boatdrinks Posted February 1, 2022 Posted February 1, 2022 Just now, Einstein said: I’m over the kickoff. Im more upset about the defense. The Bills absolutely could have ( and should have ) executed a sensible plan to close out the final 00:13. KC simply took what the Bills gave them ,which was the game. 2 1 Quote
Billsfan1972 Posted February 1, 2022 Author Posted February 1, 2022 Then why did they do it then and not the other kicks? Right, because that is the right play when at the end of a game or half..... I thought it was funny that Simmons called it an FU, and worked just as it was supposed to. Quote
Royale with Cheese Posted February 1, 2022 Posted February 1, 2022 I hear this song playing in my head every time I read on of your LAMP threads. 2 Quote
zow2 Posted February 1, 2022 Posted February 1, 2022 I still can't get over the still picture image of Kelce running up the seam on the play just before the tying FG. He's wide friggin open,,,just uncovered. And Mahomes has a grand canyon sized throwing lane to toss him the ball. The defense really galls me on in those final seconds much more than the lack of squib kick. 2 Quote

Billsfan1972 Posted February 1, 2022 Author Posted February 1, 2022 So why did Cincy do it? Why the thread was not kept up Sunday I don't understand, as it was a conversation point. It worked exactly as planned. 1 Quote

Perhaps it was the smart football decision. I get your point because it’s painful based on Bills poor decision. Quote
