I think our D is good but not great. Look how they played vs good offenses: TB, Indy, Kc, ten. They don’t have enough difference makers especially with Tre hurt. Oliver is the only one that comes to mind. No stud DE’s, no stud LBs (Milano is very good not great).

Let’s find a real real linebacker like Fred Warner from the 49ers.  He makes plays all over the field and likes contact.

If we could win 1 SB, would it or wouldn’t it be worth it.

Two word answer please.

Better question,  would you take a super bowl win knowing you have a generational talent at qb for 10-15 yrs and possibly sacrifice half of his career getting out of cap hell and overcoming not having draft picks to support him or would you like to build around him for those 10-15 yes and possibly win one?

I can’t believe one of these teams will be in the SB, and we won’t be there.

We don't play in the NFC.

Odel making out with Samuel. Very nice.

I thought that was a cool moment from Beckham consoling Samuel. Good sportsmanship.

55 wins over 5 seasons.  6-3 in postseason, including two SuperBowl trips.

Is it time we bow at the altar of McVay or do you heretics need more proof that talent, not draft picks or cap space, wins football games?

Jimmy G sucks

And the Bengals did it by scouting players, drafting pretty well and signing lower valued free agents.

More than 1 way to win in the NFL.

Rams’ model is high risk, and high and short-lived reward.

Seems like you have a lot of other teams that have a proven track record of success of drafting and developing your own talent (eg, patriots, Steelers).

Literally two teams with HoF QB's.

Steelers' "proven track record" led to exactly zero SB appearances in the last decade. 9-7 ain't sexy.

??????????????

They have been one of the best teams in football for half a decade.

Two teams have a chance to win the Super Bowl this year. 30 teams have a 0% chance.  Guess which group the Rams are in.

They haven't been in a "mortgage the future" mode for half a decade. They had some good draft picks andthen started trading first round picks for established talent (much like the Bills did for Diggs); however, they still maintained most of their draft picks. They didn't truly start handicapping themselves in future drafts until the last year or so, and the upcoming draft, in which they only have two 7th round picks, will be the first draft in which they will really be affected in a big way.

I have no idea how the strategy will play out long term. We will see.

So are we supposed to bank on a safety dropping a gimme free interception too in order to make the SB?  Lmao
