we need to learn and Bean needs to stop signing middle range FAs and drafting every DE hoping they improve.  Von Miller or Hendrickson would have made a difference this year.

For sure,  Miller would have got Mahomes to the ground because their were sacks to be made

Only good things happen when you play to win..........when you try to play safe or Prevent, well........

Exactly, Bengals didn't play chicken shoot & prevent like the Bills did last week. Gee I wonder what the Bills could do with the Bengals couching staff. I'm tired of all the excuses for McD & staff couching blunders. Yeah I know HE"S built a great culture in Buffalo---problem is every winning team has bad actors that they picked up in free agency. As we go into next year after 6 games if McD has cost us loses because of his  miss managements or blunders I would can him. I know this will be an unpopular opinion but Josh is the QB we've been searching for & we can't waste him on a mediocre defensive coach.

It's in unbelievable how bad chiefs looked today. They looked unstoppable last week.

They did the 1st half as well today. Cincy decided to coach and make huge adjustment coming out that 2nd half on D. They played much more aggressive on intermediate crap and it worked.

Happy for Bengal fans.

A winning team with mountains of cap space is going to attract a lot of free agents. The Bills, on the other hand, will have to make hard choices.

But what is worse...  Living in Cincinnati or living in Buffalo.

So is the trick to beating Mahoney seriously just rush three, keep a spy and play tight coverage? I swear that’s the only thing that changed from one half to the other and Mahomes looked totally out of sync.

yeah, change something up.   Something McD and Frazier can’t do.

Is it just me or wouldn’t  you feel worse if Buffalo won last week and then lost to Cincy this week.....this has got to be a higher level of pain for Chiefs fans.....that’s a shame😁

About the same. I live in Cincinnati and it’s like buffalo, but with less snow, no lake and a lot more hilly.

McD is going on year 6 to grasp in-game decision making and build a D that can get any kind of stop late in a game, including basically building this team to beat KC and hasn’t.

Zac Taylor and the Bengals just did it in 3. Congrats to them.

I dont know why someone of you bother watching football, it clearly makes you miserable.   So far I've read:

  • Bills are screwed because the Bengals have Joe Burrow and Cap Space
  • The Bills defense is beyond repair is complete shambles.
  • Drafting players doesn't work.  Only spending a ton on free agents does.
  • Bengals did this today with no high picks (Despite having the #1 overall draft pick at QB, the #5 overall pick at WR, and the #11 overall pick at Tackle)

Take a breath and come back to reality.

I agree, I’m just a little tougher on Rosseau since he was picked ahead of Basham. I also thought Basham didn’t get as much opportunity. I agree with you on Basham, but I don’t trust Rosseau as a big part of our future either. He showed flashes, but disappeared more often than not. I don't recall him showing much against KC. He seemed to have a few quality games, followed by complete disappearing acts. Decent rookie year I suppose, but not a guy I trust. Anyone who plays entire games without a QB pressure, isn’t someone who excites me as an early draft choice, even as a rookie.

Fair enough but counting on a rookie to be a big playmaker , even a 1st rounder, is not a very dependable strategy. Rousseau in the first and a proven veteran pass rush specialist instead of Basham would have been a better strategy imo.

Mahomes choked that away big time. His last 6 plays were terrible. It included a strip sack to make the FG way harder (maybe the only thing he couldn’t do there), a should have been pick, and an actual pick.

I guess his luck ran out…

I fell like pregame  they had planned to do different things in both halves of the game.
