If he tries to recreate the Patriots light offense he used in Buffalo…

he’ll go the smaller shiftier receiver route if Beasley doesn’t restructure he’s definitely a possibility even though the New York media with Beasleys politics  are like oil and water.

Oil and a lit match not oil and water.

Like I said, priority but not high priority. Something to be said for chemistry and scheme familiarity with team mates. Dane showed promise but don't think he's ready to be a starting caliber CB2 on a SB contender. Levi shouldn't get Top flight CB1 $ but he does deserve a good pay bump. He proved me wrong this season. He's a solid CB2

There's absolutely no way Dane should be CB2.  He's fine in a depth or Nickel role but he's slow. Tre's counterpart will be drafted at 25 this April.

Well don't the Giants have the great Jake Fromm?    I'm sure that was one of  the things that attracted Daboll over to Giants.   He can coach up Fromm finally.

I don’t know how much cap room the New Jersey Giants have I’m thinking Mackenzie may sign there because of two things

the contract the bills signed him for last year ,the way he was treated after his kickoff fumble and lack of usage even after he saved the bills butt filling in for Beasley.

any offense linemen we release either in training camp or to save cap .

no TE because we have only one

maybe a couple defensive linemen

Isaiah Mc Kenzie was the first name that popped in my head once the hiring was announced

After Daboll ignored him for most of the season?

If he accepted a random invite to go to someone’s house in Jersey like he did on Christmas Eve in Buffalo, he might get shanked

I hope we go BPA.  Wallace has great No 2 CB.  But I think CB looks like BPA at 25 according to most mocks at this time.  If that happens, I’m extending Dane cheap as a CB/, and Wallace is likely (and saddly) overpaid somewhere.

Chad Hall as the OC once Dorsey is promoted.

He reminds me of Steve Belichick, minus the nepotism and weird facial expressions

I think that you'll see alot from next offseason, depending on who is available. Basically, he will take the Beane route and go after players who he scouted, no matter how old they are.

I think he will try to kidnap/abduct Josh Allen and get arrested.

I hope he doesn’t mess with his beach chairs! That there is TROUBLE!

Ooooh fun game!!

Mongo, Dirty, Klein

They're all under contract.  He wants 'em, Beane says "what will you offer me?"

Yeah, it's weird to me how everyone attributes whatever happens with McKenzie to McDermott.  And McDermott did bench McKenzie after the contactless fumble.

But in general, we have no reason to think that Daboll doesn't design the plays, install the gameplan, and call the plays - so whether McKenzie is on the field or not, and what role he has when he's on the field, would appear to depend on Daboll, presumably with some input from Chad Hall and from Allen.

Hmm. They have similarities but Toney is bigger and faster in a straight line. McKenzie has that short sharp change of direction. I think Toney should be more of an outside receiver long term tbh.

I don't think they are the same player.

I didn't realize he's 6ft 190. Most draft guides had him as a slot wr. Will be interesting to see how they use him going forward. He was injured a bit but produced well when healthy (although didn't watch too many Giant games, they were horrible).

McKenzie also produced when give the opportunity. I hope we find a way to keep him.
