I use to go to this coffee shop (always wore a bills hat) and the owner was always talking to me about his rookie cards he had a ton of Josh Allen ones I bet he got a good flip on them if he held on.

I had a rare Wayne Gretzky OHL card when I was a kid that a card shop owner refused to believe I owned when I called to ask about it, apparently was priceless even back then.  I think it got stolen by my scum older brother as I tried looking for it some time later to sell and couldn't find it.  I'll go through my old card collection to double check if I ever get around to cleaning out my closet.

You can probably purchase a Sam Darnold rookie card. They are probably selling for $2.64

That is too high for something that goes in the spokes of your bike.

I have no idea what all that means.

What is PSA/DNA certified?

Does it actually have a piece of a game worn jersey with his DNA on it or something?

These cards are getting ridiculous.

PSA is one of the grading companies that gives the card a certified grade based on strict standards. 10 is the highest and has to be literally perfect...centered perfectly, no corner issues, etc..

My buddy sold his collection he's had since he was a kid. It was enormous, almost took up his entire basement. He sold it for over 300k.

Makes me wish I kept my stamp collection.

What years did he have mostly? I was a kid in the early 90's and I was told those years are basically worthless because they produced so many. Just my luck

Cards are matching raising players are getting. Soon only players will be able to afford them.

Wow I thought I had cards that were worth money. However, when I looked up online years later a lot what I thought were high value sports cards I could probably get a Subway sandwich with them. I wish I didn’t stop collecting when I was 12 now! I guess it is like the lotto all you need is one. 😂

Josh's cars rising in value makes sense, the crazy number of different kind of cards they make not as much, feels like Josh finishes a game and then they take his jersey and various equipment and break it down for cards.

He had a lot of 80's cards. He was a big Chicago Bulls fan and he had a lot of Jordans. Some rare rookie cards, I believe. He would also travel to these obscure card shops all over the country to find some of these cards. And he kept adding to his collection almost up until he sold it I think.
